Roy Hibbert treats Stephen Curry like a rag doll
I watched this live the refs were letting plenty fouls go during the whole game and letting them play physical, which is fine, though I guess was just the players boiling point. I like how right after the "pushing tussle" the refs call three straight fouls to get the game back in their control. I think Hibbert will be suspended 1 game, he basically threw Curry like it was nothing three times. West will get 1 game because he was pushing coaches who were trying to stop it. Thompson should get a fine, this video is a bad angle, but he doing some pushing to get him a technical during the game, though not too excessive. Lastly, an A for effort for Curry, he was pushed down three times and kept trying to push Hibbert back.
It shouldn't have made it off the court, but it barely did.
I did revisit the Palace Brawl after I saw the scuffle, though, and the two aren't comparable. I think people forget just how crazy the "Malice in the Palace" stuff actually was.
i think he was trying to hold him back at first and break the fight but as soon as he got knocked down something in his head just said "ohhhhnooooooo he didnt!!!! curry you got this you can take him, you fight ankle injuries, roy hibbert aint got nohtin on you"
I like how the Piston fan is calling for blood.....HHhhmmmm wonder why????? Hibbert will get suspended, West probably will too, even though, knowing him he was probably trying to be peace maker. Get Stephesen out of there (agree, can't help but to think ARTEST)!!! Curry should get suspended too, he wasn't even involved in the altercation and was one of the main people escalating it. Looks like Jack and Thompson didn't help on that level too, but don't think they should receive suspensions. Honestly, this is good for basketball. Gives the Warriors a little bit of an edge, and continues to give the Pacers a bad boy look in the East. Playoffs should be fun!
as a raptors fan please suspend the crap outta the team...pleeeeaaasseeeeeeee we neeed the winnnnnnnn! just take out david west, who cares about hibbert, west is a raptors assassin this year.
and i wasnt sure if i just watched an nba fight or a youtube video of two 12 year olds pushing and shoving or in their case "fighting" over candy. i love how they both square up to scrap by bumping chest to chest...such real men....looked like two oversized bumper cars to me.
After the game Hibbert was asked 'why did he pushed Curry? Hibbert said he didnt feven feel him...
That reminded me of the Alonzo Mourning-Larry Johnson fight years ago..When Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy was hanging on to Mourning's leg...Mourning later said it was like having some gum on his shoe......
Who started this and should anybody be suspended? There were a few technicals thrown out, but Hibbert was the only player ejected. I thought Lee should've been ejected as well.
