HaleParticipantIn April (regular season) he was averaging like 6 ppg 3 rpg and shooting 28% from the floor while playing 25 mpg. He only had double digit rebounds 7 times this year at 7’2! That’s just embarrassing. He has been nearly as useless against Atlanta too.

Rip255Serious Question….does Roy Hibbert seem like he even enjoys playing in the NBA? He’s like a big baby.
Or does he seem like someone that got pushed in that direction by virtue of his height and skill?
He plays stretches with no passion, no hustle and no effort. The thing is, he could be the best centre in the League if he really wanted.

Mad MaxParticipantNo, he couldn’t even he wanted to. Both Gasols, Al Jefferson, Cousins, Drummond, Noah, Horford, Monroe, Howard, Lopez, Vucevic are all easily more talented

Mad MaxParticipantLol Hibbert had the ball in the post against a 6’6 Paul Milsap, and couldn’t do jack

XYRYXParticipantHibbert is really in a major slump now and at halftime in game 3 he has again zero rebounds and went 2 for 6 in 12 minutes. It’s absolutely inexcusable that it seems he maybe completely forgot how to get a rebound!?
He never was a good offensive player and I think he has the right like anybody else to have a bad stretch on the offensive end but he is playing on a Kendrik Perkins level right now except that Perk still bothers opponents and forcing bad shots and can get a rebound.
I would really like to know how this Pacers offseason will end someday and his he gets out of this funk. There are very big decisions to be made this offseason in the Pacers frontoffice.
Btw why isn’t Scola playing more minutes let alone Bynum? Is Bynum hurt or doesn’t Vogel want to smash Hibberts last glimpses of confidence?
After all the talk about Lance and Turner and the wohl chemistry thing do you guys think that the Bynum arrival had something to do with the Hibbert situation?

Rip255I actually think it would because of the timing, Bynum’s history and I don’t believe in coincidences. Bynum is even less motivated than Hibbert and he’d be so bored being on that Pacers squad.
He already has rings and has nothing to play for. He has no commitment to the team, and has shown to be nothing but a locker room liability everywhere he went. He definitely doesn’t love playing in the NBA
I think he’s in Roy Hibberts ear putting all kinds of negativity in his head. And Hibbert can probably relate to Bynum a little which makes his impact worse.

B-ball fanParticipantHe just isn’t that skilled or coordinated on offense. His size and feel for the game are both so good that he is somewhat productive. He is obviously very good in the right situation, but it may be that opposing teams are starting to figure him out a little bit.

OhCanada-ParticipantI wanna stand up for the guy because people are just all over him right now but he has 0 defensive rebounds in 16 minutes of game 3 in a tied series. Thats some Andre Bargnani ish.

Rip255Should I be watching the Pacers game? I’ve got it on the OKC game.
Seems like you guys are getting some sadistic enjoyment out of watching the Roy Hibbert/Indiana Train Wreck.
