paint intruderParticipantthe bulls need someone who can provide instant offense and score in bunches.
wether it’s off the bench or starting.
personally I would love to see him with this talented, yound Bulls team.0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/24/2010 - 2:48am #361811

TRC1991ParticipantI feel like a combination of brewer, korver, and mcgrady can be sufficient at the #2 spot

Toronto16ParticipantSo Rose is willing to campaign for T-Mac, but not for Lebron?

mini_marzParticipantfor the bulls this would be a good pick-up… as long as they dont give him to many minutes due to his back concerns… but t-mac off of the bench would be good, he can still score and create for other players a bit… so he would be a good pick-up for the bulls and should come at a good price with a short contract… maybe around 2 years?

Go T-Mac! Go To The Bulls!!0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/24/2010 - 5:34am #361858
IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m more concerned about T-Mac’s knee, not his back.
I think the move to Chicago would make a lot of sense. Tim Grover is based in Chicago and T-Mac would be able to get the treatment, etc on his knee on a regular basis.
IF his knee can hold up, he’d be a great pickup. He could make a nice impact in 20-25 minutes per game.

LawDeeZeeParticipantT-Mac wasn’t willing to accept a lesser role in Houston where they never really believed he was truly healthy and he missed the last couple of games in NY last year because he wasn’t truly healthy … T-Mac to Chicago being any kind of success is contingent upon both those things, his willingness to come off the bench as well as his ability to stay healthy and his track record on those things doesn’t make this sound all that promising

MuggsyParticipantI’m all for it, in fact I think it’s a pretty good fit.

SteroidParticipantLol.. Rose explicitly stated that he wasn’t going to go to LeBron unless LeBron came to him, but he’s now lobbing for a washed up T-Mac? I’m confused…

ChewyParticipantT-Mac is a good fit if he can accept a lesser role. Rose is the leader of this team and bringing in T-mac doesnt change that. However, if the bulls got Lebron then Rose’s leadership would be in question. so…. why would Rose go out of his way to beg for Lebron?

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantRose and McGrady both have Arn Tellem as an agent. If you all remember correctly, Rose lobbied for the Bulls to get Tellem client Joe Johnson too. It would not be a bad pickup for the Bulls. McGrady isn’t what he used to be, but the Bulls would not need him to be. They need him be better than James Johnson and give 20 minutes a game. Brewer is a 25 minutes guy, so is Korver. Deng can go for 35, but then he breaks down. If they can keep him around 30, it is for the best. Those four can capably play the wing spots. It won’t give them that much more hope if they face Miami, Orlando, or Boston, but it would help against Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Charlotte.

dolla130Participanti think it would be a good pick up for bulls and if he is healthy i think he can be the bulls goto #3 option and if they dont pick him up they are still a top 3 team in the east the celtics are falling off very very fast a lot of teams in the east are creeping on them and they cant beat teams who can run and are athletic and i dont see them being a top 5 team in the east for much longer

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantThey were a Ron Artest three in Game 7 from an NBA championship and the Bulls have the 2009 Jazz roster with Rose in place of Williams. I think you need to reassess.
