What do you you think the incoming rookies will average this year. I ‘ll start it off:

    Anthony Bennett:12.1ppg 7.2rpg 1.0bpg 25 mpg

    Victor Oladipo: 13.0ppg 4.5rpg 2.0apg 1bpg 2 spg 32mpg

    Ben Mclemore: 14.5ppg 3.0rpg 2apg 31mpg (assuming tyreke leaves)

I doubt Oladipo outscores Bennett. Oladipo has nearly as much competition for minutes right now, given the presence of Afflalo and Harkless and the Magic’s crowded frontcourt, and Bennett is just a much better scorer. Oladipo is unlikely to look for his shot nearly as much as Bennett, at least as a rookie.

Zeller and Olynyk will be stroking it from deep and midrange, but Zeller will get much more minutes and average 16ppg on high fta and 3pt attempts.

I don’t know why on Earth this comment got negged so much. Zeller is the only offensive weapon for Charlotte’s frontcourt. It makes perfect sense that zeller will average somewhere in the teens. What will be a surprise is if he can rebound or not.

All speculation, but I expect something like this:

    Trey Burke(If starting): 13ppg, 2rpg, 6apg, 1.5spg

    Michael Carter-Williams: 11ppg, 3.5rpg, 5apg, 1spg

    Dennis Schroeder: 6ppg, 2.5rpg, 3apg, 1.5spg

I doubt Burke averages more assits or steals than MCW who was top 5 in the country in both categories. Assuming MCW starts he will average way more than 5 assits and likely around 11-13ppg and 7-8 assits.

Also I see Burke more in the 16ppg and 7 assits range

If Tyreke stays, he will play SF or PG. McLemore will probably start no matter what.

I personally think Bennett gets 15 & 8 and competes for rookie of the year.

I think the rookie of the year race will be between Muhammad and McLemore with both being in ideal situations to get an opportunity to produce. Here is my list of some rookie projectons.

Anthony Bennett- 12 ppg 7 rpg, 2 apg, 0.8 bpg

    Victor Oladipo-12.3 ppg, 5 rpg, 4.5 apg, 1.7 spg, 0.6 bpg

    Otto Porter- 10 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.5 spg, 1.2 bpg

    Cody Zeller- 12.7 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 1.4 apg, 0.2 spg, 0.9 bpg

Alex Len- 8.8 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 0.8 apg, 1.8 bpg

Nerlens Noel- 7.9 ppg, 9 rpg, 2 apg, 2.1 bpg

    Ben McLemore 14.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.2 spg, 0.4 bpg

    Trey Burke-13 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 6.7 apg, 1 spg, 0.2 bpg

    Shabazz Muhammad- 15.5 ppg, 5 rpg, 1 apg, 0.7 spg, 0.5 bpg

I think Oladipo is going to surprise a lot of people. I read where he is going to be getting run at the point guard position for the summer league. I guess Orlando is trying to bring him along and turn him into “hopefully” another Westbrook. I actually like the idea and i’m intrigued to see how he does.

I just don’t see any way that Oladipo can be a PG in the NBA. He wasn’t a good ball-handler compared to college players.
