Not an amnesty but a buyout.

Chicago Bulls should get on the phone ASAP.

I see lots of teams looking to sign Hamilton. I don’t know if he wants rings or playing time right now because he has some rings already and hasn’t really got to play to much in the last couple years because of Gordon and his problems with the coach. So I could see him going to a contender like Atlant, Chicago, or San Antonio, an up and coming team like Indiana, Milwaukee, or Denver, or a rebuilding team to add good play and be a veteran presence like Charlotte, Cleveland, Washington, Minnesota, or Utah.

He is a very good at playing off the ball and hitting the j, but I think he plays his best with a pure point guard like Billups as he struggled with AI and Stuckey at the point (could be because of guard play or just that he was disgruntled).

Billups wasn’t really a pure point guard. He was shoot first, but understood when to make the right pass.

It’s been so long since the Pistons were rellivant that I don’t even know how Rip plays anymore lol. I mean, is he even still good?

I know he can’t create his own shot though really, so the Bulls should probably go in a different direction.

I’d love to see Hamilton in a Bulls uniform… I believe he’s got a lot left in his tank to contribute… His ability to move without the ball is perfect for DRose… IMO, I prefer him over Jamal Crawford…

For the Bulls, if I had to chose one I’d go with Crawford as he can play 2 positions and create for himself (already stated above by somebody) while Hamilton is a good scorer, he is like Deng with less defense. It would be nice if they could have both and start Hamilton and then let Crawford do his 6th man thing and backup the 1 and 2.

Hamilton is a high level shooter at the 2 guard which is obviously the most glaring hole on this team. The Bulls don’t need another player that can create for himself per say. What they need are players that can keep defenders honest and keep defenders from doubling Rose. Is a team really willing to leave Rip or Korver to stop D Rose from driving the lane? Thats a tough decision for opposite coaches.

Dont get me wrong; I would love if the Bulls got Crawford, but I would be very happy with Rip too.

Jumpshots don’t always fall in the playoffs. The Heat left Korver and you know what happened? He still shot .28%. Bogans open shots? 30%.

The Bulls need another player that can put the ball on the floor and actually create something for himself and others. I mean, like Rose is literally the only guy on the team who can create any kind of offense for himself.
