Right now, what are your thoughts on LeBron James?

Right now, where is LBJ going? I think with Steve Kerr's departure in PHX, The Knicks now could get either Bosh or Stoudemire to team with LeBron. The other will also go to Miami is my thought.

Don't rip me on my opinion. Just drop yours!

I'm thinking he still stays in Cleveland...

But if he leaves, I'm thinking he might believe he has better shot at a ring right now if he goes to Chicago, rather then New York. He and Wade could team up in Miami, but unfortunately I don't see that happening. It's more likely Wade will team up with either Bosh, Stoudemire, or Boozer and stay with the Heat.

IMO

LeBron wants to go to New York I see it in him but he also wants to win so its like when Garnett wanted to be traded but he didnt wanna go to Boston because they didnt have talent but when they got Ray Allen he was all in. So if Bosh agrees to come and they can get rid of Curry's contract get a decent big Perkins like and a PG LeBron wouldnt mind handling the rock and can knock down shots and push the break then he'll go but they needd to get other players first in order to get LeBron and Bosh

I like how the 1st two

I like how the 1st two comments are pure idiot. Sad to see how this site went from good Ball Talk to 90% Trolls. Gotta love it.

Anyway. If he goes to NY with another player...how is he a idiot? Because he went to NY? Really? I believe NY could add LBJ with a Bosh or Stoudemire and they could be a very good team. If they don't have to move a player, The Knicks could have

James, Stoudemire, Gallo, Chandler. Those are your main 4? I'm not saying that's a Title team but it could be really good in the East. Maybe the best.

if i was lebron, i would go to:

1. new jersey - devin harris, terrance williams, courney lee, yi, lopez and the #2 pick is a solid core of very young players.
2. chicago - rose, hinrich, deng, gibson and noah return. plus, if lebron wants another star, they can ship hinrich and deng in a package. that's a nice consolation for any team losing a star player.
3. cleveland - best record in the league. his hometown. cleveland needs to trade delonte to fc barcelona though to make lebron happy.
4. clippers - b-diddy, eric gordan, lebron, griffen and kaman is a scary line-up. add on the #8 and that's a solid team, but i don't think lebron wants to go to the west.
5. new york - bring in a couple stars with chandler, gallanari, walker and douglas. need some serious frontcourt help and keep curry out of sbarros.

I disagree. I think NY at

I disagree. I think NY at worst is 3rd. Cleveland cannot add anyone to really mix that roster around and the Clippers are 2nd rate.

NY has the 38th and 39th pick as well. That could be two decent rookies. Maybe even two solid role players.

We could even ship off Eddy Curry and our 2011 1st round pick to get another talent. Most likely a overpaid big man.

@knicksboy32

he will be an idiot because the only things the knicks can offer him is more "marketing" and a chance to sign a second star. in this 21st century that we live in, what good is a bigger market? if he wants to to get his name out to people who haven't heard it, does he have to join the knicks to do so? and have you looked at the knicks roster? a squad with some 2nd round scrubs, gallo, douglas and chandler isn't gonna cut it. sure we could sign chris bosh or amare, but he'd still have to wait for his squad to be a championship contender anyways. and imo he should stick to the evil he knows.

Amare is going to the Heat for Beasley
Boozer is going to the Bulls
Joe Johnson is going to Cleveland
Lehype is going to sign back with the Cavs

knicksboy32

you may be right and on second thought i would move the knicks above the clippers. i think the knicks are going to have a lot of work to do to put together a team that would influence lebron to jump on board. the one thing they need is a quality point guard. toney douglas is still a year away from being a quality point guard. he reminds me of a bigger nate robinson. chandler and gallanari are talented, but play the same position as lebron. i actually think eddy curry can still play, but just not in dantoni's system and unfortunately his contract is unmovable.

Dontarrestchandler I never

Dontarrestchandler

I never said right now. My thought process is if the Knicks could get some solid players in the draft ( were going to buy a 1st round pick) and could attract that 2nd Free Agent, we could bring in LeBron James.

Also, we could either move Eddy Curry's contract now, wait till it gets more value near the trade deadline or even let it expire and add another high level free agent for about 8-9 million in the FA class of 2011.

The knicks aren't getting any

The knicks aren't getting any big time free agents.
Kyle Lowry would be very wise choice because the Knicks can over him, or Luke Ridnour or Jordan Farmar.
Draft Lance Stephenson and a defensive center and call it a day.

the knicks have some

the knicks have some incredibly good assets in toney douglas, chandler, gallo...

they could have lebron and bosh in there too and just truely have a huge lineup at times.. and i dont see why lebron WOULDNT go to NY if they get another FA

dont knock that bosh for bynum thing

that bosh for bynum idea isnt that far fetched the raps would love to sign and trade bosh and bynums contract would match up plus the raps could get a throw in bench player better then losing him for nothing and o yea bron bron stays put for 3 years if he goes to knicks ill root for him to lose very game he plays hed simply be going there for money hed make in endorsements so f that idea he goes there hes a legit u can fill in the blanks there

I don't think Toronto does

I don't think Toronto does the Bosh-Bynum deal now because this man Bynum always gets hurt. He's 22 with 3 leg injuries? Come on, I'd be shocked he'd make it to 29 and still playing.

Knickboy its definitely

Knickboy its definitely better than not getting anything in return for Bosh, no?????? Besides your acting like Bynum has 6 years left on his contract, the man has like 2 years remaining after this season.

Dnyce, the problem with your

Dnyce, the problem with your theory is that once Bosh opts out, the Raptors lose out on his rights. He's not a restricted free agent, so the only way something like that would happen is if Bosh has his heart set on joining the Lakers and being the third wheel for a while. Why wouldnt any of the other free agents do a sign and trade if Bosh would?

Also, enough with the conjecture. No one know where the players are going, and judging teams before knowing their final roster is foolish. I'm sure in the days leading up to the 2007 draft, no one was looking at the Celtics as contenders for anything. Players change the complexion of a team real fast so saying this place isnt good because of x isnt a good argument. Whatever team Lebron goes to will become substantially better, so how bout we wait the couple weeks and see what happens.

Also, to mj23, I too love David Lee's game, he's a very good ball handler and passer fr his size, plays solid perimeter defense on guy who dont just over power him, he's quick and athletic, and he can shoot. I love me some David Lee, and I wish him the best where ever he goes.
