Reggie Miller not nominated for the Hall of Fame...

What do you guys think about this? Personally, I think it is ridiculous. I do think that some sports, especially baseball, need to get a little stricter on who they let in but Reggie Miller was more than just stats.

Rodman needs to get in too.

other than Ke$ha

thats the biggest B.S. I've heard! Wow, they dropped the ball with that one. Reggie never won a final but he always made his teams competitive in the playoffs. Playing the Pacers with Reggie in his prime was no cake-walk for any team in that era

Donnie Walsh, who drafted

Donnie Walsh, who drafted Miller in 1987 with the Pacers, told the New York Times, “I just know this: If he’s not a Hall of Fame guy, I don’t know who is. He took a very troubled franchise and ended up in the Eastern Conference finals six times. That’s pretty impressive for a guy who weighs about 185 pounds, and in the years that he did it, he was a marked guy and he relished it. I feel very thankful to Reggie to what he did for the Pacers and I just feel he deserves that honor, whether it comes now, later or whatever.”

Either way, Reggie is undeniably a top-five shooter of all-time, and that’s being conservative. He was one of the best players of his era and one of the few guys who gave Michael Jordan problems. For him to not even make the group of finalists doesn’t make sense.

His career averages don't

His career averages don't jump off of the page at you and he didn't win a ring, but his resume was more than worthy in my opinion.

I'm shocked. I'd like to know the reason why he wasn't voted in.

I do not even like Reggie Miller

And I think this is ridiculous! If Mark Jackson gets into the Hall of Fame, I will scream like a 10 year old girl who saw a bowl cut similar to Justin Bieber's. How does Reggie not at least make the Finals of the people they named? Completely ridiculous, and yes, Dennis Rodman absolutely deserves to be inducted. Both he and Reggie are two of the more deserving candidates I see listed. Sabonis should more than likely make it as well, definitely not just for his NBA body of work, but it is the basketball Hall of Fame and he is a Hall of Fame caliber player for his impact on the USSR and Lithuanian national teams, plus his play in Europe. How Mullin has not already made it is puzzling, he was a fantastic player near the level of Reggie, not to mention his presence on the Dream Team, who was full of Hall of Famers and Christian Laettner. Nelly? Over Reggie? Really? Yes, he won a ton of games, coached forever, hit an incredible game winner with the C's, but Reggie Miller was a much more impactful player and presence to basketball than Nelly. Mark Jackson and Reggie are not even in the same discussion. How is Mark Jackson a more deserving candidate than Reggie Miller? How I ask you? Now we will have to hear him kiss up to Reggie, like we weren't already tortured enough. Marty Blake is awesome, but I always side with the players on HOF induction, and I am sure Marty Blake could scout this list and say how stupid it is to not include Reggie Miller. He did not have the same impact as a number of other first ballot HOF guys, but he is definitely a Hall of Fame player and I would love to hear the reason as to why he was not selected as a FINALIST.

This is Ridiculous

He's arguably the greatest pure shooter to ever play the game. The HOF voters should be ashamed of themselves.

Tisk Tisk

Thats crazy. How does a guy that was the most prolific shooter in the NBA for quite awhile (until Ray Allen had that career night) not make the HOF? They let John Stockton in and he also hasn't won the finals or a championship, and then they did the same with Karl Malone and Jerry Sloan. Yet you still don't let Reggie Miller in. Tisk Tisk.

Reggie Miller was one of the

Reggie Miller was one of the most clutch players to ever play the game, he set an NBA record for threes and had a long list of other accomplishments and he didn't get nominated for the Hall of Fame? That's just weird.

Who R the Voters

I mean what variables go into judging wheather someone is a HOF or not. I would look @ the Top 5 players of that era & see how they affected a generation of people. not just players, but fans, coaches, kids growing up watching him play, not backing down to Jordan, growling @ Spike Lee, that was memorable enough to get him to the HOF. # are important but Epic moments are just as grand to me, not just Epic moments but a Career/WorkEthic that say's I prepare for these 8 points in 11seconds Moments that enthrailed fans for day's. Who R the Voter's?
