Leonard WashingtonParticipantWhat is your favorite recruiting class of all-time for your favorite college team?
Mine is the 1995 recruiting class for UNC which included: Antawn Jamison (favorite Tar Heel behind MJ), Vince Carter ( arguably the most exciting and athletic player ever to suit up at UNC) and Ademola Okulaja ( a pretty solid role player during his years at UNC).
Thoughts?

TRC1991Participantthats a mean recruiting class that NC had… i would say back in 2002 UW got Brandon Roy, Nate Robinson, and Bobby Jones (all of which made it to the NBA)
2007’s was good too with Matthew Bryan-Amaning, Isaiah Thomas, Justin Holiday, Venoy Overton, and Darnell Gant.

sahrgobucksParticipantIm going to say 2006 for the buckeyes. Greg Oden, Mike Conley, Dequan Cook, David Lighty, and Othello Hunter. But that might just be the bias in me cause im an OSU fan lol. Another I really like is Kentucky is 2009 with Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe and Orton….

mikeyvthedonParticipantPG Luke Ridnour (19.7 ppg and 6.6 apg his senior year, All Pac-10 First team)
SG James Davis (Two time Pac-10 leader in three pointers made, never lead in attempted. 40.7% 3 Pt shooter)
SF Luke Jackson (Consensus 2nd Team All-American his senior year, averaged 21.2, 7.2 and 4.5, 44% 3 PT)
PF Jay Anderson (Think he was a nice guy)
This may not be our best class ever, but it was my favorite.

Mr. ChicagoParticipantThe 1997 class was probably the best for the Blue Devils with Elton Brand, Shane Battier, Chris Burgess, and William Avery. (Brand, Battier, and Burgess were all rated in the Top 10).

SubZeroParticipantAs a Kentucky fan, I’m sure you could guess lol. ’09 with Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, Hood, and Orton was one of the best I’ve seen in a while. If Bledsoe would’ve stayed another year and Orton stayed for another year or 2, it would’ve made it even better. Seriously, when I heard John Wall was coming to UK, I watched this video everyday over the summer at least once.

JNixonParticipantKansas State:
Class of 2007. Mike Beasley, Bill Walker, and Jacob Pullen just wrapped up a career that probably will go down as the best in KState history.

llperezbest ucla recruiting class i have seen really didnt quite live up to expectations which was the 1998 class.
It included:
Ray Young. #16 overall player in the nation. McDonalds All AMerican. #2 player in the state of california behind only tayshaun prince.
Dan Gadzuric. #4 player in the nation. McDonalds ALl-American. Many thought he was gonna go straight to the NBA out of highschool and skip college.
JaRon Rush. #7 player in the nation. McDonalds All American. Was considered a better pro prospect coming out of highscholl then either of his NBA bound brothers kareem and brandon.
Matt Barnes. #54 player in the nation. WOuld go on to have the best ucla/pro career of anyone on this list.
Jerome Moiso. #75 player in the nation. Biggest immediate impact player of this class. He looked like a stud and was a lotto pick after just 2 seasons at ucla.

JNixonParticipantAlso apart of that KState 2007 class was Jamar Samuels. He redshirted, but he’s had a solid career himself as a role player. Was the Big 12 6th Man of the Year in 2009-2010. Pretty good for a guy who was the last to sign in the class, as a spring period signee

akhan786ParticipantMine would have to be 1997 Duke when they pulled in the top three players in the class and all of whom at one time were ranked number one (Burgess, Brand, Battier)
Out of this recruting class we got a number one pick, two NPOY and one championship.
