The reconstruction of the Los Angeles Clippers.
If the L.A. Clippers want to have a chance of slipping into the playoffs or just be knocking or the door by seasons end, Baron Davis is going to have to give it his all. Davis has to be willing to lay it all on the line and sacrafice his shots if the Clips want any part of success this season. So far, there not looking as hot as their Staples Center friends the Lakers. Only time will tell if Davis has what it takes to take a below-average team to the playoffs similar to what to he did with Golden State 2 seasons ago.
get rid of the owener and play a more uptempo style. you might win championships but at least you'd actually be entertaining your fans. and both your bigs have shown they can do that. and trade kamen for a sharp shooter
Let Baron Davis do this thing, and stay healthy. Simple as that. The Clippers are a talented squad, but the knock has always been injuries and Dunleavy's coaching style. Perimeter players always clash with Dunleavy because he loves to set-up plays in the low-post. It's the reason Maggette left, and it's the reason that Baron is already arguing with Dunleavy. Dunleavy's style doesn't work with the players he has, make it more up-tempo, and let the players have their freedom. Davis, Gordon, Thorton, and Randolph are not meant to play this slow style he has.
Also I don't know hire better trainers, or something. The injury bug just loves those Clippers.
Kaman's good young and big, camby is good, old, and a little undersized. Im guessing some teams have to be interested in Camby, if you can pick up some youth in the front court, and athleticism then get it cuz thorton and davis are solid athletes and can punish people on the wing which you dont find very often. If they could some how manage to get a young player like javale mcgee and a conditional draft pick from Washington or get a player like brandan wright from golden state. They are rebuilding so they should be going younger. Davis, gordon and thorton looks pretty good, especially 3 years from now, same thing if you throw Kaman in there. i think they should be going after a player like jordan hill
They should be a playoff team, but they create turnovers and can't score enough with their weapons. Thorton and Gordon need more looks, and they need to deal randolph for some defensive role players like a Shane Battier, or Marquese Daniels.
1. Fire Dunleavy. I know he's been a great coach for a long time.
2. Move. L.A already has a good NBA team (lakers.) They should move somewhere like Seattle, where the pressure won't be too high.
3. Get a rich owner. Their owner now is a little cheap.
4. Draft on potential. They have a lot of good veterans right now. If they draft raw players, these veterans can be mentors for them in the future.
5. Keep Eric Gordon, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Kaman at all costs!

Ideas, please.
