The Reason My Thunder May Be Just Fine With The 21st And 26th Picks
Kevin Seraphin. This kid has serious talent. AT LEAST as much talent as Ibaka, and we all saw his game beginning to bud toward the end of this season. The only thing that scares me is that I read that sometimes he drifts during games, but that's normal for prospects his age that haven't spent all their life on the basketball court. He will definitely get there with the right team developing him. I hear he has all the tools to be a starting Center in the NBA, but he needs at least a year to develop and hone his game. Plus he comes from the suddenly great French pedigree. There are rumblings that he has the talent of a lottery pick, but has been underexposed to this point. As I look at current mock draft projections, at least one 3 prospects of interest will be available at 21: Seraphin, Larry Sanders, and Solomon Alabi. I have liked Alabi for a long time for defensive purposes, but now Seraphin is intriguing me more and more. The Spurs at pick 19 is a HUGE threat though.
seraphin wiill be good and probably won't rape anyone like kobe did and probably still does.
I dunno. If I was a team who wanted to move down, I would call OKC.
Philly's 2010 pick for OKC's 2010 picks? Maybe a possibility
why would philly trade down? are they scared of drafting a rapist so they would rather draft a crapy player. well i would rather suck at basketball than be good and a rapist.
realsportsnet.com finally someone thinking ahead! lol Of course OKC could move up like you suggest and I've been saying it at least ever since the draft ties were broken. The question for me is? Do the Thunder WANT to move up? I think they do and will since they have the second pick in the second round and the 26th overall to keep to their "two top 30ish picks every year" plan. That said, if the right player drops, they could just stay pat.
I'd love to see Daniel Orton go to OKC. Win-win for me because I love Uk and I'm hopping on the Thunder bandwagon now. He'd provide a good defensive presence at the 4/5. Krstic and Collison are good but neither are shot blockers. They need to draft a defensive minded big with one of their first round picks.
Orton at 21 or 26 wouldn't be bad at all for us. But I like Seraphin way better and besides, what everyone is saying is that Orton is a top 15ish pick.
D.Lee for 10 along with J.Green...
I know and I don't even think Orton should be drafted that high. Seraphin is very intriguing with his size and potential too.
