LeFlopJAMESParticipantAlias : Last year rookies who had bad statistics, issues, injuries, team probleams that next season will be like their first.
Shabazz Muhammad, Alex Len, 8 Porter, McCollum, Anthony Bennett, S.Karasev, R.Gobert….
Noel ( but he’s still a rookie due knee injury, like Blake Griffin….)
Forget someone?

he_gets_bucketsParticipantCody Zeller. Got trapped behind Big Al’s great season, hopefully will get more minutes with Josh McRoberts off the books.

morestealsthanscoresParticipantI think both Len and Bennett have chances to break out this year- or at least improve significantly on last year. I’d really like to see Gobert get better as well.

Chilbert arenasParticipantWith Battier and Ray possibly retiring after this season and lack of cap space with Chalmers demanding a raise I would like to see the Heat give James Ennis a run at least for the first half of next season.

FutureNBAGMParticipantI would throw Kentavious Caldwell-Pope into that list too. He showed good signs late last season but I think the disastrous chemistry of Detroit hurt him. Expect his numbers to go up under Stan Van Gundy.

tidhoParticipantBennett’s certainly got the potential. Even last year when he got minutes he played pretty well.
I think Porter is going to make a nice jump too. Everything that could go wrong did. With their situation in free agency they are likely either going to let Ariza walk or move Webster for cap reasons.

Jester87ParticipantKCP showed flash of great defense and can move off the ball. If he finds his stroke he can make an impact. Also, last year he could never get the ball on offense. I’m afraid the Cavs have already given up on Bennett, they fired the guy who drafted him (though actually he didn’t want to draft him but was froced by his employer and by Mike Brown, who also got fired), so I don’t know how much they’re willing to work to put him in a position to succeed. I hope they do, but if they draft Parker it’s the likley the end of the run for Bennett. Zeller had a horrible start but improved a lot in the second half. If he start hitting mid range jumpers and getting a better grasp of Nba defense he could become a starter, though I think they will bring back McBob and have him in the starting lineup to use his playmaking skills. Olynyk too had a good second half after struggling early in the season, his development as a jump shooter will be a key.

WITNESS2014ParticipantAnthony Bennett will actually have his first NBA summer. Last year he was injured all summer and put on a bunch of weight. I expect a completely different player this year.

hbomb3300ParticipantBold prediction for 2014-2015 : Anthony Bennett will win Most Improved Player award next year! He will average 10-14 points, 6-8 rebounds, with a high 40s field goal % and around 40% from 3. HUGE improvements over last year.
