    Butler as well as his wife were in a car accident and didn’t make it.  RIP.

    That’s terrible. Saw the car in the link and must have been a disastrous crash. Only 38 years old and his wife also didn’t make it which is also a tragedy.

     Damn. He always seemed like such a good dude. Worked really hard to make it from LaSalle and to stick in the league. That sucks.

    When he was on the Spurs a few years ago, he reportedly took Kyle Anderson and Jonathon Simmons under his wing their rookie years. Both said they owe a lot to him and now are really solid NBA starters. RIP.

    Philly legend for sure, the city will always remember you as one of our own…

    Stand up player and person for his entire career, the league lost a good one here…
