PaulsJayhawksParticipantIts been quite on the Raptors front as we start to get closer to the deadline. Im sure BC is busy on the phones has anyone heard anything? What moves could/should be made. I see Peja and Barbosa heading out to playoff teams that need vets. Maybe Reggie Evans and Calderon too. Thoughts?

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantToronto isn’t going to want to move their expiring contracts. They will have less than $50 million committed to their payroll for next year (not counting their two first round picks) and that positions them well considering the uncertainty of what the CBA will look like. They have plenty of guys, but not difference makers. It is going to take good drafting to get those guys, not just moving parts.

BigDParticipantYeah, i can’t see expiring contracts getting moved, espcially Peja, he hasn’t showed much and what playoff team has a need for him? or any other of those expiring deals.
