I had a thought during the Toronto game earlier, but I had another during the Clippers game so thought I’d just ask both

    1. How does Terrence Ross still get minutes? I don’t know how he’s been consistently, but everytime I’ve watched him the past couple seasons he’s been absolute garbage. So some Toronto fan can correct me or validate me.

    2. Can the Clippers win with Mbah a Moute starting? They’re the best team in the league right now but no doubt there’s a huge hole in their lineup with him in it. Every team in the playoffs will be able to just sit under the goal and protect the rim with whoever’s guarding him because he’s a nonthreat completely on offense

Ross gets minutes from the hope that he isn’t garbage. Obviously his play has been uninspiring so far, but if he can play at an NBA starter level, this Toronto team has the ability to play small and fast.

Siakam and JV have been great, but this team is designed to create turnovers and run in the open floor. If they can play 10 minutes of Lowry, Powell/Joseph, Derozan, Ross and Carroll, they’ll be able to keep their scoring high without relying on ungodly performances from Demarr.
