If you’re the Raptors and you get the 4th pick (assuming Davis, Robinson, and Drummond have been selected), who do you go with to fill the void on the wing?

They could inevitably go with either MKG, Barnes, Lamb, or Beal, but I feel Beal is the player they Raps should go with. But honestly, I don’t think you could really go wrong with any of them… except maybe Lamb since a lot of scouts question his desire.

Also, what do you think they Raptors should do with their Point Guard situation?

Should they keep Calderon? Re sign Bayless? Goran Dragic? or maybe somehow trade a few assets and second round picks to move up and grab Teague?

I think the Raptors have a good future ahead of them, along with the leadership of Dwayne Casey…

If im looking for more of a scoring wing i think id take Harrison Barnes. But if im looking at just the best player available i woul dgo MKG becuase hes just a beast and has so much more room to grow.Alos depends on what kind of team am i going to have. 1/2 court offense or uptempo team? keepin calderon at PG or upgrading the position? they obviously have alot of needs

Dont think they could go wrong with any of the above, but I honestly think Derozan is more suited a 2 than 3 so that leaves MKG or Barnes where MKG will most likely be picked already by the fourth pick/wherever Toronto picks.  All Barnes and Derozan would both need to do would be to improve their ball handling skills. They would be a great pair on the wing as they both can do alot but for the most part they complement each other as Derozan slashes and Barnes is a spot up shooter.

I don’t see MKG available at 4. If he is, its a steal

As long as Bargnani & Jose are on the roster this team is stuck on stupid for the foreseeable future….

Raptors most likely won’t get a top 4 pick most likely anywhere from 5-9 pre Lottery draw.

Tony Wroten Jr would be the perfect fit to grow with Jonas V.

While neither Bargs and Jose are top 5 players at their position. You are not a very smart basketball person if you are still holding on to the idea that they aren’t good players.

Wroten at pick 5-9? That’s quite a stretch for Wroten.

For the Raptors, just draft the best player available to pair with Jonas/Derozan to form your young 3 moving forward. I think Barnes makes a lot of sense to keep Derozan at the 2. Sullinger isn’t an awful fit either, even though I’m still a little iffy as to how his game will translate to the Pro’s. But Sullinger/Jonas at the 4/5 and Derozan at the 2 looks pretty good moving forward..

Am I the only one who thinks Bargnani and Calderon need to part ways in order for the Raptors organization to finally begin their "rebuilding" mode? In my eyes, Bargnani has reached the apex of his career and there isnt much improvement left for him. I think its safe to say that he lacks the defensive mindset that Dwayne Casey is looking for in his players (although he is constantly trying to improve himself for the betterment of the team). Calderon needs a change of scenery, and his is a very capable second option guard for a contender that could use a PG to get his teammates involved. I realize this post may get some negative reviews, but can anyone think of any trade scenarios where we can get value in return for these players?

Jonas, Bargs, Draft Pick X, DDR, and Calderon are a decent starting unit with room to grow.  I’d go Barnes since DDR can’t shoot and Calderon should get a lot out of Harrison’s game.
