No His stock is definitely

No

His stock is definitely rising, but I don't think its possible for him to jump Parker or Wiggins, Embiid is a bit of a wild card with the back issue but if all checks out then I think he stays in the top 3 too. He just doesn't have the scoring/franchise player upside that the other guys do.

I think he's jumped into the 4th-5th pick range, higher than he's currently projected on this site. He is a great rebounder, a skill that always translates to the NBA.

No, but I do think he will go

No, but I do think he will go anywhere from 2-5. Is it possible? Sure, but I just could not see anyone taking him over Parker, but I do feel it is possible (although unlikely) that he could jump over Wiggins at #2 if he continues to impress in the NCAA tourny. I can really see him impressing in pre draft workouts. Hes a very unique PF that has the potential to be a 20-25 ppg scorer in the NBA IMO. His athleticism is ridiclous and his ability to move and take the ball up the floor is flat out impressive.

I love Randle and he is

I love Randle and he is number four on my big board. I think he will have just as productive or succsessful career as anyone in this draft, but I just like the idea of an elite wing, or elite center more than the idea of an elite PF.

Randle is overrated. The guy

Randle is overrated. The guy can definitely rebound the basketball, but that's about it. He's able to overpower people at the college level, and he won't be able to do that in the NBA. His skill level is non-existent.

Clearly you missed the game

Clearly you missed the game against Michigan State where he was showing post moves half the NBA can't do. It's hard for him to do that now because as soon as he touches the ball in the post he gets doubled or tripled. That makes it pretty hard to execute moves down low.

The Michigan State game

The Michigan State game proves my point even further. He can score so effectively within five feet of the basket at the college level because of his strength. He overpowered the Michigan State front line. He won't be able to do that in the NBA. He doesn't have a skill level.

This is 100% incorrect. Watch

This is 100% incorrect. Watch the recap of the game as it's available on yuotube. He doesn't score just by bullying guys, it's actually mostly off of great touch, body control and footwork. In the first 30 seconds of the video I watched you see him pull off a beautiful move. The more you watch the more you see an incredible ability to finish around the rim without just plowing through guys. I don't know how you can't see that having seen that game.

All of his points came within

All of his points came within five feet of the basket. Everything was forced. He relied too much on his sheer strength.

Yes, this is correct. He

Yes, this is correct. He didn't look all that good today but Michigan was a nightmare matchup for him. Dakari has better size, has been on fire lately and is far less versatile so he played close to the rim. When Randle was playing by the rim with him the paint was clogged and they weren't getting any offense. Then he moved out more towards the perimeter and the offense thrived. He wanted to get his offensively and he forced things at times. I thought today was a poor game for him but his overall body of work shows a lot more. His skill level is very very high and on the rare occasion he sees single coverage he shows off a fantastic post game.

There is no point in arguing

There is no point in arguing with you, you basically stated that Randle skill level was non existent. If this was the case, he would not be getting double/triple teamed every time he gets the ball down low. Randle has elite touch and footwork that allow him to score in multiple ways on the low block. He is without a doubt the best offensive big man in college basketball and arguably the most dominant (24 double doubles on the year).

Did Shaquille O'Neal have a great skill level? He was double and triple teamed back in the day.

Randle is far from overrated

I think his motor will make him an All-Star alone. Combine that with low post moves, I don't see how he's overrated at all. I will say he's underrated... I'll look at a player like Blake Griffin as a rookie and say that Randle is better overrall as far as skills. He plays better defense than Blake does and he can play with his back to the basket. He's learning NOT to just overpower guys as I watched today how he avoided the charge call multiple times.

You guys are too hard on him. Whenever he touches the ball in the post he doesn't have a lot of time to get his shot off. They tripled teamed him sometimes today. UM did everything to make sure Randle didn't dominate them and he STILL had a double double. I'm a Jabari fan and I think Embiid's/Wiggins upside are great, but if you want to go with a FOR SURE talent, you have to take Randle Top 4. I wouldn't be mad if anyone took any of these 4 Number 1 actually. Jabari, Wiggins, and Embiid aren't that far ahead of Randle as a prospect.

I'm a huge j randle fan

I believe j randle will be something special if you guys notice he gets tripled teamed every time he touches the ball to the point they went with dakari in the post . Randle might be left handed dominant but he has post moves and shear strength combined with guard Quickness man I can only imagine him playing in the nba going one on one with nba power forwards I think he will be something special. He is far from overrated !
