i officially think he is over rated right now. as im watching the game and keep an eye on him, i can tell you he’s not great at anything. not a nice jumpshot, OVER RATED ball handler, not great at penetrating, and not great defender. he can still develop a bunch but if i was him i would wait another year.

I knew he’d hit the Fr. wall. He’s an extremely strong natural talent, but his approach to the game, strength, toughness, maturity, IQ and awareness on both ends all need polish and work. He’s gonna be a very good player in the future just based off talent, but he has work to do to reach his potential as a winner.

Y’all need to stop comparing High School/College players to NBA players. It’s a great situation when these guys have to go to college, so they can actually improve their weakest, mature as basketball players and young men. Miller needs a another year.

I would like to see him stay another year, which may be asking a lot….he is playing off of natural ability, and like a lot of young talents these days, his IQ is not on a high level.

I like Quincy Acy a lot too hardworker and good shot blocker for a guy his size.

Pierre Jackson is better than AJ Walton, but AJ Walton is bad. Anyway, I am not sold on Baylors guards. They have size and alot of talent in the frontline, but I am not impressed by their guards. You need good guards to truly be a good team, especially during the conference swing and beyond.

And Kevin Jones for West Virginia is an animal. His 18 ft shot is strong, and he’s beack to the energetic form I knew and loved when he was a Soph. during their Final 4 run

Perry Jones reminds me a lot of T-Mac with the way he plays so effortlessly.  It may look like he is not really playing hard but thats because the game comes so easy to him.

People need to be fair with how they evaluate Miller. His team is undefeated, a very deep and talented team, therefore his scoring isn’t really that needed. He is doing all the other little things (2.5APG 1BPG shooting at respectable percentage both at FG% and 3PT Line) and while playing only 25MPG. We all know he’s a gifted scorer, but the fact that he’s doing other small things shows me how complete a player he is to me.

I’m not as high on him as some other people are. I think he’s very overhyped. The main thing thats overrated about him is his ball-handling. Whenever I see him try to handle the ball, it looks loose and sloppy, and he struggles dribbling in traffic. I thought shot-creating was supposed to be his greatest strength, no? But I haven’t seen much of it yet. I haven’t seen the last two games he’s played, but whenever I’ve seen him, he doesn’t look confident in his abilities to score. Maybe he’s still recovering from the injury, because he was never quick, but I think he was probably quicker than what he has shown so far this season, which is why he’s probably lost confidence in his scoring ability.

And he’s a bad defender. He would look even worse if Baylor didn’t play zone. He’s lateral quickness is very poor.

One thing thaqt has surprised me (in a good way) is Miller’s passing. He has good vision, and can make great passes when driving. But he’s been too unselfish to a fault, and has forced some passes.

And Baylor’s PGs suck! Jackson is a midget chucker, and Walton is a TO machine.

Jackson is decent, if he could slow down and play under control, he would be alot better, he has the quickness, just needs to slow down.

quincy was killing it before Perry Jones returned from injury, and then suddenly he’s been rather ineffective. I think its due to the fact that hes no longer the go to guy and his immaturity level cant really handle it. 2 and done for quincy. just like jones
