cuseflynn10ParticipantWhere do you think he signs? I think he waits to see where other top high school seniors go and which forwards go to the draft. I know Duke, Baylor, Oklahoma, Louisville, and Kentucky seem to have expressed major interest in him. I think it’d be a bad move for him, Gilchrist, Davis, and Wiltjer along with current Kentucky bigs to all play on 1 team. On his twitter it sounds like he likes Kentucky and Louisville so I’d have to say he goes to Louisville. What do you guys think? I hope I’m wrong since Cuse would have to deal with him.

HitsterParticipantKentucky does have a production line under Coach Cal but one of the other 3 may be a better option given Kentucky’s depth. Maybe a year with Coach K at Duke would be the safe option.

WrecklessParticipantBetween Duke and Louisville .
Pretty sure Lebryan Nash goes to Baylor and if Miller goes to Louisville Wroten commits. And if he goes to Duke, then Rivers commits.
Just my opinion.0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/29/2010 - 11:16am #389217

stanford hoopsWhy would it be a bad move to go o Kentucky? I always laugh when people say it’s a bad move to go to a team with alot of good players on it. In reality it’s a great move because u have a better chance to win and play with other very good players plus u don’t have to put up great stats to get drafted high. I’m sure it’s hard to understand if you’ve never been recruited

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI believe Miller is either going to Duke or Kentucky.
Louisville is a Tier 3 school. Why go there over a Tier 1 school like Duke or Kentucky
Baylor is a up and coming school. If Nash lands there, I could see Miller saying ” Me, Nash and Austin? who could stop us?” and go to Baylor

stanford hoopsPlayers Go to second tiers schools all the time samari samuels was a first team
all American who duke recruited hard but he picked the cards over duke. Same with Payton silva. Happens every year so it would be of lil shock if he picked the cards (who he’s cry very high on) duke just isn’t for evryone. Only certain type of recruits seem to pick duke. And it’s usually not one and done types0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/29/2010 - 12:08pm #389250

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantNever said Duke was for everyone but unless he really wants to play with Wroten at Louisville. I don’t see it.
Plus not to mention, L-Ville was coming off a couple solid seasons when they got Samuels. I can’t think of one player over the past 5 seasons who said ” You know what, I wanna go to that losing team” as a top 10 recruit.

OhCanada-ParticipantPlaying on a team with great players is always a good move because you get to practice with them and have great competition to push yourself. Look what happens everytime a young player with tons of potential plays with Kobe, he turns that player into at least a rotation player.

Who Trevor Ariza? He didn’t turn him into a rotational player. Ariza simply got more PT. I remember watching Ariza doing the same thing as a Knick. Then he went to Orlando where he got NO PT.

stanford hoopsSo if unc has another n.i.t year are they a third tier school? In reality they aren’t a third tier school. Not even close. U don’t get a bunch of top 50 kids every year if you are a third tier school. You’re probably the only person in the world who thinks they are a third tier school and recruits obviously don’t hink they are as well

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantNo, North Carolina won two National titles this decade and has the Jordan seal of approval. They will always be a Tier 1 school. In terms of coaching, history and recruiting- Louisville is a Tier 3 school to me. If we did do this: Duke, North Carolina, UConn, UCLA, Kentucky, Syracuse, Arizona, Ohio State, Michigan State and Florida have been better to me over the past 5 seasons.
Over the past 5 seasons, I would say L-Ville isin’t better then any of those teams.
Also, this past season. UNC struggled with YOUTH.. UConn lost there 3 best players and had underachievers. UCLA had bad seeds and underachiving players (terrible combo) and Arizona was young as well. Louisville? I dunno what happened to them. I would say underachivers but they still had some past guys who played on tourney teams like Delk, Sosa and Knowles and none stepped up.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYou know what. I’m gonna admit on this: I was dead WRONG.
L-Ville been to 2 Elite 8’s and a Final Four in the past 5 seasons? Wow. I would say Tier 2 then.
Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, UCLA, Michigan State
Florida, Ohio State, Louisville, Arizona, Syracuse

if we past 5 seasons: Duke, North Carolina, Florida, UCLA and Michigan State are the top 5 to me.
I would count NBA as well for this.
