Everyone on this forum has plenty of questions to go around that they cannot answer themselves, so I have decided to start a Q&A Thread.

One poster list there question & the next poster answers it with the best of your knowledge if you can.

Copy the (Q: Question) on your post & place your (A: Answer) underneath

Q:Why should G.S. shop Monta instead of Curry, what does Curry bring to the table that Monta does not besides shooting. Monta is still fairly young at 25 years of age?

I feel it’s because GS is trying to go in a new direction. Curry is 22 and still growing as a player. He is also a willing distributor. Ellis on the other hand is one dimensional in that all he does is score (taking many shots to do so). Mark Jackson is going to implement a new system focusing on good defense which many consider to be a weak point in Monta’s game. And on a side note, it was reported that Ellis wasn’t/isn’t being actively shopped. But rumors surfaced of an Iggy-Ellis trade which gave GS an idea of his value.

A: I think the warriors want to have a fresh start, also curry imo is a better distributer then ellis, Monta is still young he would be a good addition to a playoff team who needs a scoring boost or a starting sg

    A. Monta is a ball hog and not a very good passer. He insists on playing the 2 yet he is only 6’3 so he is undersized for a starting 2. He insists on both starting and playing the 2. When he starts the Warriors are a worse defensive team because he can’t guard people as well. Believe it or not but it actually being big helps you defensively. The Warriors are actually a lot better team defensively when Monta is on the bench. The Warriors want to be a more defensive team, and right now they feel they can improve their defense alot by just getting some size. Curry can pass better than Monta can and he is younger than Monta, so he has a lot more room to grow and learn.

My question: Is Minnesota going to trade the 2nd pick or are they going to keep it and trade on their current players instead in order to make room for whomever the second pick is?

    A. No, I don’t think Miami would trade one of the big three if they aren’t the champions this year. The big 3 in Miami was formed "to win not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, but several championships" According to Lebron. They will keep the big 3 and add more tiny needs and keep adjusting and tweaking here and there until they get that first trophy. Then they will keep doing that in order to get several championships. The only way I think Miami would trade one of the big 3 is if they keep losing many chances at a championship not just 1.

It should be, the first person to have their reply, that’s the one that should be taken into account.

e.g. wardb12 and ASDF22 both posted at 10:32 (my time) but ASDF’s post is first.  His should be taken into account.

A: Me personally I think they keep the pick & players on current roster. I also have a GUT feeling Kahn will shake things up by taking Derrick Williams, to create a log jam for the 3/4 spot.

Q: Is Minnesota going to trade the 2nd pick or are they going to keep it and trade on their current players instead in order to make room for whomever the second pick is?

A: I think if they get Derrick Williams they trade somebody else. Based off what’s been said out there, Beasley is the obvious choice since Williams is similar to Beasley but with a better attitude/intangibles. But how much trade value does he still have? Williams has a pretty underrated PF skill set and although he’s got an identity crisis right now, probably thanks to his agent, I think he’d flourish at the PF position.

This sounds a bit crazy but an idea for the Wolves is that they could shop Love since he has trade value and from what I’ve read is rumored to want out of Minnesota. If that is the case, you could try Williams at the 4, Beasley at the 3. Both can shoot, and Williams has a real good post game. With Rubio running the point, you could have a very good, fast, up tempo lineup. Rubio isn’t that athletic, but his passing makes up for that, (ala Jason Kidd and the uptempo Mavs). Personally I’m not a fan of Kevin Love, and regardless of stats, you don’t fall in love (no pun) with a player who was the leader of a 23 win team.

Q- will 2011 draft go down one of the worst darfts ever?

A: NO. I actually don’t think it will. I think this draft will produce a lot of rotation players and some solid starters. Maybe no superstars (1 maybe if full potential is reached), but unlike many drafts, I think this one will be good in that it produces a lot of impactful players, something that can’t be said about some of the superstar laden drafts.

Sorry – I rode the short bus here today.

    ^^^

My answer to previous is above – here is my question.

Q: How does Lebron James legacy get affected if the Heat lose this series with the Mavs, and what does it do for Dirk?

Q: How does Lebron James legacy get affected if the Heat lose this series with the Mavs, and what does it do for Dirk?

A: The pressure will amount even more, and he will be known as a choke artist unless he provides a big game in the next 2 or until he finally wins a ring, but it will always be in the back of peoples minds. As for dirk, I see his legacy expanding probably becoming the mj of international players coming into the nba, every international  would be compared to him in terms of sucess.

Q- How many rings will lebron truely win, and will Dwade surpass him as a player when its all said and done?

Q- How many rings will lebron truely win, and will Dwade surpass him as a player when its all said and done?

A: I think that he will get at least 1 or 2.  If the heat don’t win at least 1 championship with Lebron and D-wade then this experiment will go down in infamy.  Adjustments will be made if they don’t win one in the next few years or so.  I think that Lebron will still have a greater legacy, because we have never seen a player like Lebron in this league before.  Just the general way in he entered the league and what he can do with a basketball makes him the more iconic player, although D-Wade will be right there with him for sure.

Q-  How good can John Wall become?  I was looking at stats the other day, and he had an overall better rookie season than Derrick Rose had in his rookie season.  He’s a better deffender and has the potential to become a better playmaker.  Can he be a superstar in Washington?

A- What suprised me was his passing ability. Very suprisingly he got the record for most assists to start a your NBA career. He is in my opinion a poor on ball defender but he can get steals like very few people thanks to his wingspan and quickness which is always nice. But he has all the tools to be a beast on the defensive and offensive end. I think he will be a superstar.

Q-How will it affect Dirks legacy if he fails again being up 3-2?

And where would he rank all-time on his position if he gets it. Over Malone, Barckley and KG who needed a Big3 for his title?
