PTI with Tony and Wilbon the other day

During PTI the other day, the guys were playing odds and the question came up "What are the odds that Stephen Curry gets traded" and they explained that Monta is the only untouchable player on the team according to the owners. Tony K put his prediction at 90% and Wilbon said it was 100% that Curry would be gone....I don't know what to make of this, I know the Warriors will not get proper compensation and Steph could become even a bigger beast if he goes to the right situation because Golden State is not it. Steph has All-Star potential but Monta controls the ball too much and Steph will never fully breakout in that backcourt. Where do you think he could end up and what would it take to get him?

They misquoted the owner

He said he was extremely impressed with Monta and expected more from Steph but neither are on the block and he loves the back court

they, the warriors cant win with that backcourt...one has to go.

Makes sense to trade the younger/cheaper of the two...they can get a good deal for Curry I believe...they need a big point guard that can play lock down defense or a passing shooting guard like Joe Johnson...Trading Ellis would likely mean taking back a bad contract...and the rest of the league may think Monta is a tweener best used as 6th man...

Agree with the Kings idea, he

Agree with the Kings idea, he would compliment Tyreke sooo well in that backcourt. Ive never thought that Steph and Monta would work well together.

They may not be good together

but watching the warriors play ball this season has been exciting. Its obvious both guys look great in high paced offenses. wherever they go they should get that oppurtunity to run a fast paced offense
