this one is the biggest so far

According to published reports, a three team pre-draft trade has shaken up the schematics of the NBA draft. The winner of the trade at first glance seems to be the Milwaukee Bucks, who landed Stephen Jackson, Beno Udrih, Shaun Livingston and the No. 19 pick in the draft.

They gave up John Salmons and the No. 10 pick to Sacramento, but they managed to land a group of guys who can contribute immediately. They trade down nine picks, but there will still be a strong possibility that they land a player they are high on.

Charlotte obtained the No. 7 pick from Sacramento and Corey Maggette from Milwaukee. They have a real shot at landing a starter there, but at what cost?

The Dallas Mavericks have reached a trade agreement with the Portland Trail Blazers to acquire swingman Rudy Fernandez, according to sources with knowledge of the deal.

The Mavericks agreed to send the No. 26 pick in Thursday night’s draft to Portland to acquire Fernandez, sources said.

In a separate trade, Portland agreed to trade the pick to Denver as part of the Blazers-Nuggets swap of Andre Miller for Raymond Felton.

The Mavericks thus selected Texas small forward Jordan Hamilton for Denver at No. 26.

The Houston Rockets have reached an agreement on a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves to acquire guard Jonny Flynn and the rights to No. 20 overall pick Donatas Motiejunas, according to sources with knowledge of the trade.

Sources told ESPN.com that the Rockets will send the rights to Nikola Mirotic, the 23rd pick, and No. 38 in Thursday’s draft, along with veteran center Brad Miller and a future first-round pick, to acquire Flynn and Montiejunas.

The Timberwolves then turned around and dealt the rights to Mirotic to Chicago for the rights to Cleveland State guard Norris Cole, selected 28th, and the 43rd pick.

In yet another deal, Minnesota traded the rights to Cole to Miami for the 31st overall pick, a future second-round pick and cash considerations.

The Indiana Pacers have traded the draft rights to Kawhi Leonard to the San Antonio Spursfor point guard George Hill, a league source told ESPN.com.

Indiana selected Leonard, a forward out of San Diego State, with the 15th pick in the first round Thursday night. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 15.5 points and 10.6 rebounds last season. He was a second-team All-American who helped the Aztecs win a school-record 34 games.

Hill averaged 11.6 points and 2.5 assists per game last season, his third with the Spurs.

The Spurs also received the 42nd pick and the draft rights to 2005 second-round pick Erazem Lorbek from the Pacers.
