This is the lottery going by the projections this site has.

    1) Marcus Camby/Chris Bosh

    2) Luol Deng

    3) Patrick Patterson

    4) Gerald Wallace

    5) Amare Stoudemire/Deandre Jordan

    6) Reggie Miller

    7) Jermaine O’Neal/Jason Thompson

    8) Ray Allen

    9) Robin Lopez

    10) Mo Williams/Lindsay Hunter

    11) Doc Rivers/OJ Mayo

    12) Carlos Boozer

    13) Mark Jackson

    14) Brandan Wright/Samuel Dalembert

I just thought it was really interesting to look at their mock lottery this way. What do you guys think?

That’s a great way to think of it. I’ve never considered it like that. What an amazing lottery that would be.

You have to remember that these prospects are compared to the current/past nba players based on playing styles, not actual talent. Example Andre Drummond plays like a young Amare Stoudemire, but he is nowhere near as good as Stoudemire yet, and he may or may not ever be. It’s simple a playing style comparison, otherwise, I don’t think Camby, Deng & Patterson would make the top 3 over Reggie Miller, Ray Allen and Amare.

I feel ya man. I mean, I would never take Robin Lopez 4 spots ahead of a Mark Jackson lol. Just thought it was interesting looking at the draft in a different perspective.

You can’t deny that those comparisons are pretty bad though

The Pattrick Patterson- Thomas Robinson one is really bad. Not only are there playing styles different but Thomas Robinson is a much better prospect than Patrick was.
