BasketBalAllanParticipantThere is certainly a chance that this is the line-up but I do hope the coaches decide that six guards is to many on a 12 man roster.

CanadianGMParticipantI agree and Im not sure about Harden putting up 29.7 but I think he gets enough to start over Kobe and depending on coach ( maybe Pop or Doc) as I believe Brooks coached last year, I don’t see picking Kobe unless he is close to all star worthy and Lakers are in a playoff position which I find unlikely. Assuming playoff teams I see- Spurs- Parker Thunder- Durant, Westbrook Clippers- Paul, Griffin Rockets- Harden, Howard, Blazers- LA, Warriors- Curry , MAVS- Dirk. I think those are playoff teams and best bets to be represented in the all star game with Lillard possibly making it. Plus I see monster numbers from Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins that will be tough to ignore if they are close to playoff teams.
Starting Guards- Paul, Harden. Bench-Curry, Westbrook, Parker
Starting Forwards- Griffin, Durant, Anthony Davis (24 pts, 12 rbs, 3.3 blks, 1.5 steals) with monster numbers Bench- Howard, Dirk, LA, Cousins with monster numbers (25 pts, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1.5 steals)
I just have trouble justifying Kobe on a 12 th place laker team putting up 20 points on poor shooting percentages, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. His lifetime achievement all star game comes in his last season when he announces he is retiring.

tblazer_NZParticipantI think this team looks about what I’d expect from the fans.
I am worried that Jeremy Lin is now playing for the Lakers that Chinese voters will get him into the starting line up. However unlikely that is.

iguapops420ParticipantKobe will be voted in. He was voted starter with only 6 games And telling fans not to vote for him. Harden is not a creative enough scorer to average 30. Starting pg will be close, but I expect Paul to get the votes over Lin.
