nick5354ParticipantWhile the 76ers are getting flogged each game, I think we need to make a game out of it.
Who can predict the 76ers first win of the season? They are what, 0-12 now? How long til they register their first win?
I have a funny feeling they will beat the Nets at home on the 27th of November and end there losing streak at 14.
When do you think it will come?

kanuflengParticipanti think it will be against the Twolves on Dec. 3, Martin is injured, as well as Rubio. I am not sure if Young and Pek will be back by then but that’s theirs best chance, playing a very young team.

OhCanada-ParticipantI think this is the worse team in the modern age of the NBA. I also think this is a terrible way to rwbuild. A blatently obvious rebuild is just stipid. How can the coach or players breed confidence in a system of development of the team going forward. It doesnt work. Nobody believes a liar you cant possibly expect these guys to believe they are contracted to win. If your MCW how can you possibly want to play for this team after you go through a grueling season win ROY perform every dutie expected of you and then offered in trades and ultimately being stuck on a team that got even worse.
They are establishing a losing culture fast. Thats not good longterm.

nick5354ParticipantI was thinking they might get up against the Knicks, however it looks like Calderon might play. I just can see Calderon making the Knicks a better team. He is no CP3 or Westbrook obviously, but I think he will fit in nicely with what Fisher is trying to do.

Lotto StudParticipantAfter all, the Oakland Raiders just finally got their first win over a divisional opponent. YIKES! It took over 365 days, but they got their win.

HitsterParticipantI’d agree that Brooklyn might be their best bet, they have the Thunder at home on 5th December so a lot could depend if KD and Westbrook are back by then.
I recall the Nets went on an 18 game losing streak at the start of the 2009-10 season which is the worst start ever, the Thunder game will be Philly’s 19th of the season so that could be a really big game.

TimberTrollParticipantIf they get up to around 0-40 they would become must see tv. How ironic is that?

Lotto StudParticipantJust imagine how upset everyone would’ve been left in an "awe" state, after Brett Brown kicked the ball while the team was up by 3 to potentially close out the game with a win.

nick5354ParticipantJust realised I posted my comment in the wrong thread. Anyways, bad luck to those who tipped NY for the 76ers first win.

HitsterParticipantWish I’d have backed all their opponents so far with individual game bets, would have made a nice profit.
