At the Bull vs Pacers game and it feels great to see the season started! I’ve probably been cheesing since I got here lol. It definitely feels good to be back and you kind of forget all of the craziness that went on during the summer.

This doesn’t feel like a regular pre-season game. Pacers are definitely taken this seriously to start. I’m assuming the coaches will have both teams playing hard since there are only two pre-season games to get ready for the season.

First thing I noticed… Daren Collison has gotten a lot bigger. I didn’t think he was, but George damn near just might be 6′ 10"… IF not, he’s pretty close.

Yeah the other night on PTI they said Paul George had grown 2 inches over the summer, this could be big for his game

let them down tonight. Bench players who played ok were Hill and Foster. Lance looked bad.

Not sure about pre-season rotations, what you can take from them. I hope West is fully healty. He helps the bench ’cause Ty can come off and score/rebound. Otherwise they have to count on Rush, which sounds a recipe for disaster to me.

i watched the pre-season game between Detroit and Cleveland, Irving scored 21 points and Grab 6 reb with 3 assist and 5 turn overs, what i was impress with the game was the hustle of samardo samuels, he is a human wreking ball under the paint, he was fouled a lot in the paint he scored 15 points and grab 7 rebs, 4 of them are offensive rebounds, he shot 11-16 in the free throw line, with 25mins of action

with detroit, i was impress with the Basketball IQ of knight, he reminded me of chris paul (rookie days), he got 9pts with 4 assists and 4 TO, with 5 fouls, he is still forcing it a little and needs to go with the fall, some of the fouls there were so "eh! why he do it?" moments, i was also impress with austin daye, great shooting and can move well without the ball, not to mention he is a 6’11" Small forward, it helped him to get 5 rebs and 5 blocks with 18 points

Beat me to it No rim Treys, lol. Yeah, I was watching on PTI and they were saying that Paul is 6’10 that just gives him the ability to be a Durant type player. I just hope they don’t make him bulk up, cause it would be a pity if he lost any of his athleticism or explosiveness.

George was aggressive and played with more confidence, but he needs to use his athleticism to get to the rim instead of shooting so many jumpshots. He’s too upright when putting the ball on the floor. He’ll never be a Durant type player because he isn’t as offensively skilled. You can see George has worked on his mid-range game though, which is great to see.

I didn’t think Lance looked bad at all. He took some long jumpshots and had a bad foul on Rose for three, but other than that… He didn’t have a great game or anything, but he defended on the ball well. His handle looks legit too. I’m a fan of Stephenson. He’s going to be good.

Kyrie Irving’s a better scorer than I thought…  I didn’t see much of the game so I can’t really say whether he was making good passes with teammates being unable to finish or trying to score more than distribute…  And I know it’s his first game and he’s played less than 15 games in the past year, but it would be nice to see his percentages go up a bit.

In other news, there was a Lance Thomas sighting!!!  I totally forgot about this guy since he left Duke.  7 points-8 rebounds-2 steals in 37 minutes for New Orleans, but that’s pretty good by his standards.

Do you guys think Lance Thomas makes the cut and gets to stay with the Hornets? I think that he’d be a great addition because he’d be a fan favorite, is an all out hustle player, and he’s cheap.

Irving’s scoring mostly came from the line where he was 13-15; from the floor he was only 4-14 and 0-4 from three.
