Possible trade. Love for Howard

Just a thought about a possible trade. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7b4hxrm

Minnesota get - Howard (c). This works for Minnesota as they get a superstar player. Howard will grab the boards, be an absolute force in the paint and get you points. Team Howard up with playmaker Rubio, Beasley, Williams and Wes Johnson Minny will be a force. Also don't forget Randolph. Minny have so much assets to go forward with. Also this clears the backlog of point guards.

Orlando get - Love (PF), Milicic (c), Ridnour (pg). Orlando also come out well. They get an absolute monster and animal in Love. Love is still only 23 and someone who will help Orlando going forward. Love and Milicic also gives them size which will be missing when Howard is gone. Orlando already have scoring power and need size when replacing Howard.

Minny have enough assets to twick this deal to make it happen, so there could be more and/or different players in this deal.

Thoughts?

Im pretty Orlando would ask

Im sure pretty Orlando would ask for another player ie johnson, williams or beasley..and maybe some draft picks. As good as a player Love is he doesn't provide the same defensive presence D12 will so expect more assists to be involved. then you have to figure if D12 will like minny and its cold weather and not as big a market as la,Brookyln, etc

That is the beauty of this

That is the beauty of this trade, Minny have the assets to make it work. I would try and get Wes to move here. He is not the answer in my opinion and a move might help a gifted yougner player like him. I guess it will also come down to Howards muturity. If he goes to a small market team loaded with talent rather than a medicore big market team.

I also think Minny should go after a trade to get Nick Young. He can fill the viod at SG. This trade would be very tempting for Orlando seeing Love dominate as of late.

Thats exactly what it would come down to...then again Howard said he wanted to set his own path so you never know. Him and Rubio would be awesome though

Yeah that's not going to

Yeah that's not going to happen, Orlando would have to find another home for Glen Davis and Ryan Anderson,

ryan anderson is having a breakout year... benching him or trade him at this point would probably not be a good idea.

The distinction with "Rondo

The distinction with "Rondo is our leader," though, is that they are not only willing to listen to him, they are willing to accept that what he's saying is not some half-cocked guess. If Rondo pulls Garnett and Pierce aside and says "I see this. If you go here, you go there, and do these things, we're getting a basket," they nod and say OK rather than ask "are you sure?"

The Toronto Raptors boast a

The Toronto Raptors boast a lot of continuity as head coach Dwane Casey has eight rotation players returning from last season, but he also has seven new players on guaranteed contracts in training camp. Casey has repeatedly stated that starting jobs and minutes are up for grabs.

Waiters again played a lot of

Waiters again played a lot of backup point guard, and on this night, he was much better than reigning rookie of the year Kyrie Irving (more on that in a minute). While Waiters wasnt drafted fourth overall for that reason, its nice to know he can maybe rescue the club when Irving is way off.

The Suns, who put up 83

The Suns, who put up 83 points through three quarters Friday, finished the night with 30 assists and shot 51 percent from the field. Their 28-15 first-quarter blitz included 71 percent shooting (5 of 7 from 3-point range), due to a couple of things they didn't accomplish during Wednesday's preseason-opening loss to the Kings in Sacramento.u5665

"Alvin has had that in his playbook for years," Suns assistant Igor Kokoskov said.

So even though Gentry and the Suns' coaching staff is wisely mixing in tactics familiar to four players who used to play for Adelman (Scola and Dragic in Houston; Michael Beasley and Wesley Johnson last season in Minnesota), a lot of the offensive flow is supposed to look familiar.
The Suns will continue to seek a quick tempo, using ball screens off of Corner sets and other designed quick-hitters.nbdgfsd

"It's taking us a little time

"It's taking us a little time in making the right reads," Suns assistant coach Elston Turner, who assisted Adelman for several season in Sacramento and Houston, said when asked about the Corner offense before the game. "But we'll get it. It fits our guys pretty well."

Beasley, who made half of his 8 shots and scored 10 points Friday, is working at small forward and – thanks to the Corner keeping both sides of the defense occupied – could have several post-up opportunities without weak-side defensive corruption.78i577

"It was just a good win,"

"It was just a good win," Gentry said. "I think for us … we're trying to create a winning environment, so first and foremost, I think you have to do it at home."

Following practice Friday at the Lakers' training facility in El Segundo, reporters wasted no time informing him that Smush Parker was offended about comments Bryant made regarding why his former teammate doesn't belong in the NBA.p76986

Now back to that glue and

Now back to that glue and Kirilenko, who seems to vocalize everything in his own perfect, poetic way. The Russian veteran could be the spokesperson for the team at this point, with his sound bytes that transform what might otherwise be clichés or trite athlete-speak into comprehensible wisdom. He knows what he wants to contribute, and his approach should color the way the team thinks about its game from now on.vsdfsdf

“I’m excited,” Noah said in

“I’m excited,” Noah said in an interview with WSCR in Chicago. “I think we’ve been working really hard. A lot of people are sleeping on us. We’re a team that’s been through a lot, dealt with a lot of adversity, especially with what happened to us in the playoffs last year. I really felt like we were set to make a run at it, then injuries happened, which sucks. But we’re hungry, hungrier than ever, and hopefully Derrick gets back in time and we can make a run at the end of this.”
