Willfb3ParticipantPerhaps the most intriguing prospect in the draft. Does he have the lateral quickness and ball handling ability to play SF in the NBA?

Captain LParticipantI don’t see him being able to guard a3 on the perimiter BUT he may be able to do like Kirlenko often did and that was recover and block the shot from behind, he definitely is long enough.

Rip255People talk like he can’t play the 5…..I wanna see that for myself when hes 23 years old and put on 30lbs
Maybe not guarding Dwight Howard. But u telling me he couldn’t check half of the scrubs playing Center in todays NBA?

Willfb3ParticipantI don’t doubt that he can play C or PF. The question was can he play SF? A player versatile enough to play 3-5 adds a lot of value.

wonzi_bellsParticipantNo. I’ve seen you ponder this in other posts and I know want to imagine a Noel-Embiid-Porzingis lineup but no, he’s doesn’t have the ball-handling abilities to play SF and I don’t think he can guard SF full time, maybe in spurts.
And he can’t play center to the other commentor. He’s already a poor rebounder at PF, much less center.

cycloParticipantI just see him eventually playing center.
230 lbs. is decent weight for his height considering his age 19.
Dikembe Mutombo weighed 228 lbs. when he was drafted.
Porz will probably end up around 250 lbs.

WinterSoldierParticipantI don’t see him playing SF, but I don’t think it matters because his size is elite at PF. To me he is to the PF what Durant is to the SF.

The GoatParticipanti have the same questions about him defensively. He wont get in the game if teams will do like GS and play all wings because he cant guard a post player either. Looks supremely talented offensively, so 4s will struggle to guard him, but i dont know how he defends a group that includes Lebron, KD, Simmons, Griffin, Draymond Green and Greek Freak. Maybe hes a generation late..

theballerwayParticipanthis body and his workouts(minus the shooting) actually remind me of Anthony Randolph, also projected as a small foward but became more of a ~PF/C. Think he was weighing about 250 in his Minny day.
His shooting stroke alone sepewrates him from a Randoolph comparison as a player but same shouldrs too

Bed HeadParticipantHe lacks both, actually. In fact, some of his skills (particularly his passing) aren’t even all that great for a 4. (By current NBA standards.)
Oh, and he’s not a center either. At least not at present. But obviously he has a better chance of bulking up than acquiring quickness.

CoachWyersParticipantI don’t think he can transition to SF, he is a stretch 4 and a hell of a tough matchup because he can score in a wide variety of ways spot up jumper, straight line drives, around the basket off basket cuts and offensive rebounds.
