Seriously this guy is getting a little bit too overhyped folowing that workout… First people say he should play the 3 then now the 2 spot?? Man I don’t care who you are, a 7’1 player should not play the wing positions full time. You will get stripped and harassed lke crazy against smaller players.

 Porzingis does not even have a good handle.. Good for a 4 maybe but no way good for the 3 spot where you will be running the pick and rolls. The guy will just pick up his dribble 90 percent of the time playing the 3 and stagnate a team’s offense. The guy’s intruiging yes, but he’s getting hyped like crazy now.

But if  they play with towns as p&r with him going to elbow to shot i think he will remake p&r defending against big man. But if he scores most points with post moves idont see him being nothing more then an all-star for 10x for just being big and athletic.

Now he should ultimately be a post primarily but look at Pau who played SF  in Memphis before he added weight…very similar in skills and body type. Id take him if I was NY I think him and Melo could be nice with some work. Also I think Fischer is a good coach as far as handling a young Euro and developing him

You might be getting killed for this statement but you aren’t that crazy. According to Synergy he shot 53% when running off perimeter screens ( essence of SG movement). Has some similar characteristics to KD, who everyone says is a 7 foot shooting guard. He doesn’t have the handles and quickness but he might be the rarest prospect ever. 7’1 with 7’6 wingspan and that shooting ability and skill set! Excited for his future.

 Don’t get me wrong I love this kids athleticism for his size but it’s laughable to put him at SG. Imagine a guy like Jimmy Butler or Tony Allen guarding him. He’d turn it over every time he dribbled.
