MJ FOR LIFE 23ParticipantAnybody else watching this game? Kobe and Lillard are going head-to-head each having 17 in the 1st quarter and 28 and 25 respectively at the end of the half with Lillard also adding 7 assists. It’s a bit out of control but it makes for a great game. Also its interesting to see if the Blazers are going to be able to win this game with 4 of the 5 starters being rookies

IknoBall12ParticipantI could see it. Heard Kobe and Millard were battling like u said. When i heard Matthews and Batum weren’t playing I figured the lakers would have a cakewalk

IGO4TWParticipantWow.Kobe,Howard and Pau combined for 90 of the Lakers 113 points.Kobe set the record for most points of an opponent in the Rose Garden. He also recognised Lillard after the game saying that he has the complete package.
But when the Lakers have to play Kobe every single minute to beat a Portland team playing withou 3/5 starters you know they are going to be swept against San Antonio/OKC

llperez2 straight games now where Kobe put the team on his back. 23 4th quarter points last night vs new Orleans and then 47 tonight. Now 3 straight playoff caliber opponents to try and make the playoffs coming up.
Also Portland looked damn good, Damian lillard was a beast. He really struggled the last 3 minutes missing 2 wide open threes and giving up 2 offensive rebounds to Steve Blake cus he was ball watching, but he is gonna be an all-star.

Cavaliers420ParticipantAmazing game. Kobe was magnificent. Steve Blake saved the Lakers season with two key rebounds that could have possibly gave the Blazers a chance to even things out in the last two minutes. Great game. Lakers are so close, they can make the playoffs!

King CaluchaParticipantKobe had 47 points, 3 steals and 4 blocks. Sometimes he can be a jerk, sometimes he can lead by example…

IndianaBasketballParticipantKobe Bryant was unbelievable last night and at both ends. I don’t know how he does it. He played every minute.
On another note, I’m loving what Pau Gasol is doing. They’re *FINALLY* putting this man on the low block. He’s looking like he did vs Team USA in the Olympics. He also had 9 assists… Almost a triple double.
Defensively though… The Lakers are terrible. They defended better in the second half, but that first half performance at the defensive end was just terrible.
