I’ve been a fan of Portland every since they drafted Brandon Roy(was my favorite player), and I’m a big fan of Aldridge, Batum and I’ve always been a strong supporter of McMillan as the coach, but god do they suck now. They can’t even put up point against the Knicks, the same Knicks team who has one of the worse defenses. You look at their roster, they have some solid players, along with an All-Star in Aldridge, you’d think they’d be solid, but no. I don’t think it’s McMillan’s fault, especially with the lockout and loss of Roy, but looks like he’s going to be gone soon. They might as well get rid of everyone they can except Aldridge and Batum, and build around those two.  But for the love of god they need to draft a guard who can score. I’d suggest Rivers, he might be tweener, but at least he can score, something they need. Shame this team sucks, had a lot of missfortune with Roy and Oden never having a career. McMillan is a great coach and should get another shot, just wished thing would have worked out.

They really under-estimated Andre Miller’s value to that team. Felton has been terrible this year.

No offense to you but Portland should be ashamed right now. I mean they should feel disgraced….down 40 to a team that lost 6 in a row with a new coach on his first day. They were pretty good to start the season, but they just fell off a cliff after that. I think they will be making changes before the deadline tomorrow

mess.eee hit the main POINT (pun intended)

PG play for the Blazers has been horrible! It could be a clashing style of play (players who would thrive in an uptempo system vs Coach’s half court approach to the offense). Yet, Felton came into the organization out of shape and hasn’t found a significant way to contribute for this squad. At least when he was with the Nuggets last year, he was in shape and did a solid job in an uptempo system.

I feel for the Blazer’s fan base though. This team had potential to give opponents a scare in the playoffs. They were deep, young, and seemed to have a good balance of offense and defense. But now, the wheels are off and unless they get a STUD pg to lead this team, I don’t know what the Blazers can do. Coach McMillan will probably resign and have to take most of the blame but the effort from the players are just not there as of late. This is NOT portland basketball
