Dgtool2ParticipantOk so I was listening to Fox Sports Radio the other day and one of the persons on there said if Spoelstra 3 peats then he is in the same conversation as good of a coach as Popovich. Does anyone agree? I certainly don’t. Spoelstra does have the potential to be in that conversation but he has to continue it for more than 5 seasons. Popovich has led the Spurs to four titles since 1999 and they have made the playoffs every year since he took over in 1997 with over 50 wins each season (expect the lockout 1998-99 season, where they won 75% of their games and finished 37-13). That’s a span of 18 seasons. Spoelstra would have 3 titles and four finals appearances in five seasons. Thoughts?
