With a large part of big name free agents already signed with their teams, who do you guys think will make the playoffs this season?

    West:
    Thunder
    Spurs
    Clippers
    Rockets
    Warriors
    Grizzlies
    Pelicans
    Timberwolves (finally crack it)

    East:
    Heat
    Bulls
    Pacers
    Nets
    Knicks
    Cavaliers
    Hawks
    Wizards

I don’t see how OKC improved this offseason enough to warrant a 1 seed, San Antonio is still easily the west’s best team

I like your east predictions with the exception of Indiana ahead of Brooklyn…

Also, I think Denver will be better than Minnesota, you’re vastly under-appreciating playoff experience

West – Pelicans ? No. I agree with you about the others ,but i think the last spot will be a battle between nuggets, mavs and trailblazers. And iam a hundred percent sure that memphis will be a lot weaker than last season, but still cannot write’em off.
East – i think that the Pistons and the Raptors may be in the playoff battle. j Val will have a breakout season, rudy gay and demarr derozan are there too , pistons added josh smith and obviusly are looking for more talent as they tried to get rondo. Speaking of him, it is his health on what depends if Boston will be in the lottery on the next draft or they’ll achieve what pp and kg did last season 7-8th seed and a first round exit of the postseason.

Remember last season, Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon had injury problems. If they are healthy, along with the addition of Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans (I also like the Jeff Withey pickup, he has impressed me in the Summer League) I think they have a very good chance to make the playoffs.

MIne are a bit different than the norm I would say. I have a different perspective on how some teams will turn out.

    West:
Thunder, Despite losing the Harden trade Big time, I think they have a great young bench, and I hope to see Lamb finally put some production out there.
Warriors, I think Iggy will help this team tremendously especially defensively. Continued improvement from their young players and I think they’re the scariest team in the West.
    Rockets
Spurs, I think their age catches up to them and I don’t like the Manu resigning.
Clippers, I’d hope to see them higher but the Top 6 in the West is very very tough.
    Grizzlies
Nuggets, lost Iggy, and Gallo out for most of the season, but Hickson is a good pickup and so is Foye, they’re still a playoff team.
    Anyone between Twolves/NOP/Portland/etc

    East:
Bulls, They were the #1 seed whenever Rose was healthy, and I see the Heat resting the Big 3 more often so they aren’t so worn out come playoff time.
    Heat
Pacers, People seem to forget they still have Granger to come back which helps their bench a lot.
Nets, I’m not convinced they’ll stay healthy.
    Knicks
Pistons, I think they’re being underrated. Their frontcourt is scary defensively, and they’re pretty deep. Very talented and I expect Billups to be monumental in the development of their young guards.

I really wonder how many games the Jazz, the Sixers are going to win… they obviously want to lose every f*cking single game.

it should help some teams to break their win records
