Thought this was pretty dope. Who’s the best team? What 2 squads would meet in the finals?

caray12ParticipantChicago is the best in my opinion. I would love to see the North Carolina backcourt though

KobeeeeeParticipantThe Wizards are top… Chicago and Charlotte would be fun to watch too. As for the west, the 2 LA teams would be the best.

Chilbert arenasParticipantNo very consistent. Is it where they were born or where they were raised? Pierce went to Inglewood High but is under Oakland. Ariza went to Westchester High listed under Miami. Melo grew up in Baltimore but born in NY. Channing Frye was born in NY but raised in Phoenix.
I think hands down LA wins if you consider they had to divide the best from Lakers and Clippers.
Interesting they put Paul George down as a Laker though he was a Clipper fan growing up.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantLol Minnesota. We SUCK. And we’re the whitest team EVAR. Go figure…haha
As for the best teams…that Bulls team is nasty. So are the Wizards, Lakers, Hawks, Clippers. I think the Bulls are probably the best of that bunch though.

MachettiParticipantI’d be interested if you guys think a territorial draft would be better for the nba? The balance of the league as a whole would be more competitive. If I’m not mistaken wasn’t there some sort of draft process that allowed you to draft regional players? Isn’t that why Wilt Chamberlain was a sixer? Red Auerbach wanted Wilt to go to a "New England" based college so he could take him in a terriotrial draft.

—————————————————————————————–Not really. Right now the league tends to be skewed towards large market teams, most of the best prospects come from those regions anyway because they have higher populations, the rich would just get richer

phila9012ParticipantI wish it was easier for players to play for their hometown team. It would make the bond between the fans and the teams stronger if people were watching someone who grew up there play there, and it would also make players more loyal to their team as well because people would be less willing to leave their friends and family. I know Lebron left, but he went back because of his strong bond with cleveland. I am not saying every player needs to play in his home town it would be better if more players did it though.
