The Player to Fall
Ok last year Darrell Arthur fell off, going to be a
10-15 pick in the draft and ended up being 27th
Who is be this year Arthur?
I saying Wayne Ellington or Eric Maynor(maybe)
I don't know why Ellington is ranked so high on this site. Most other places have him listed as a mid to late 1st round pick, but this site apparently thinks he will go lottery. I like him as a player, but certainly not as a lottery pick.
People believe that MJ will go UNC playa at 12. The smartest player there for him is Terrence Williams
Williams could work, Bobcats do need more shooting. I think there best move would be to trade up for Hardin. Trade Augustine or Felton.
Yeah, Mullins could pull a Deandre Jordan. Why does this site have Maynor ahead of Flynn, Lawson, and Evans?
I tell u why Mullins wont drop : Name another big man other than Hill, Thabeet and Griffin? I honeslty think if he shows up well in workouts...he may be a lottery pick ( 13- Indiana)
ummm im suggesting that Ricky Rubio will be another Jordan because i believe its gonna take him sometime to get adjusted with the speed and pace of the nba, also depending on what team he gets drafted to he might struggle
i think james harden could fall to 9 but in terms of biggest fall, maybe dejuan blair after some workouts. i think he is projected about 15 and could go late first.
Rubio is gunna be a bust......this guy doesn not have good jump shot ....but can create but what if they defend his teammates and make him open EX.Game 6 BOSTON VS ORLANDO they let rondo open cus they know he wasn't a good of a shooter as allen and pierce...Rubio will have a career like Brevin Knight...but my pick for slip up will be Ellington
Jrue, jennings or mullins...
I don't see Jennings falling. There is no way Rubio falls below #2.
Henderson or Budinger will fall to the 20's. Werd.
This draft is not that talented where top people will fall out of the first round unless someone moves up and maybe if Mills stays in draft and bumps one of the point guards.
i think dejuan blair and mullins are a bit protected from falling because of the lack of big men. but i think mullins will fall when people dont feel like waiting 5 years on him. hes a sure fire bust. he was a bust at ohio st. i think henderson will fall into the 20's. not many teams need a shooting guard and thats all he can play. i think charlotte will go ellington and indiana evans leaving henderson the odd man out. not many teams need sg's after that.
the bulls will have a hard time letting him slip past them at 16. if james johnson or blair is not available the bulls need a backup sf and budinger is a nice fit
Jrue Holiday is moving up but I can see Chase falling.
rubio could fall to #3...
This class is chock full of really good PGs and combo guards, so much so that I think one of them will fall out of the first round. A lot of it depends on who stays in the draft and who doesn't, but if they ALL were to stay in, you have Rubio, Jennings, Flynn, Maynor, Lawson, Mills, Teague, Collison, and maybe Calathes who are all first round talents. Add the combo guards (Curry, Evans, and Holliday), and it gets to be pretty crowded. This site has Collison in the second, so maybe him being in the second round isn't much of a slip, but I could see one of those other guys slipping. The guys I see falling are Mills and Teague should they both stay. They are both really good scorers, but lack the PG skills that teams are looking for.
I think you nailed it.
If Curry doesn't go to the Knicks...he could slide down quite a bit. I could also imagine a scenario where Mills or Collison go much higher than expected, even ahead of someone like Maynor or Lawson. Not saying that I would make that move, but you are always guaranteed at least one or two shocking picks on draft night.
You should def. change your name, if you list Rubio's major flaw as shooting. You then announce him to be a bust because of this, you seem to have forgotten that a jumper just takes practice and incase you haven't noticed he's not even 20. Change your name, seriously do it.
How is this guy falling? Took him a while to adjust to the college game but ended with some sick stats(17.1ppg 3.9apg 5.4rpg 2.1spg) He is 6'6 can handle the ball plays PG SG very versitile. He didnt have alot of options to go to on the offensive end at Memphis, he will have much more in the NBA. and as far as his shooting he is only 20 he has time to develop. I could see him developing into a good player in a year or two.
Players I think will fall:
Gerald Henderson- Athletic but somewhat undersized, plays bigger though, and has asthma as I read and a health condition is I believe what forced Darrell Arthur a few spots last year in the draft.(Dont quote me on that)
Eric Maynor-I just think he is overrated, I would rather have a quick Flynn or a guy who I think will be good in Jeff Teague. I just can see Maynor Dropping
Tyreke Evans-See Above
Jrue Holliday-Ford has him very high I think he will be bout 10-20 I know thats wide but that higher than they got him going on this site.I think he will be a better pro than college. He was the number two prospect according to rivals btw.
Gani Lawal- Hard working young, Wingspan is nuts,Athletic
Toney Douglas- Could be a late first early second he is a good shooter good defender.
Evans is fallin...not based on numbers but based on his time at Memphis
Is he a 1 or a 2? Can he play the 1? ( If he can, he may go top 5)
where is he in his development in his jumper?
Evans should go 9 to the Raptors. He can run the Raptors similar to how he did in Memphis he can be a Kobe like guy, he can be the 2 gaurd but bring up the ball type player. I dont know how hes coming along in his shooting progress but I have to believe hes practicing and his veristility will help alot to any team.
If anything Tyreke Evans' stock is rising, along with every UNC player. At first, I though Harden was gonna fall, but apparently, he's been having very good workouts. I can see tow guys falling: Jeff Teague (did not play well second half of the year, especially in tournament, should have stayed for Junior year) and Chase Budinger (too much of a tweener, stock has progressivley gotten lower over the years)
