FutureNBAGMParticipantWho do you think they can land this summer? I think they’ll definitely re-sign Reggie Jackson. I keep hearing that DeMarre Carroll and Tobias Harris are on their radar as well. One move I think they should try is going after Andrea Bargnani for a two-year deal(first big man off the bench, backup center for Drummond). What are your thoughts?

xJumpManxParticipantLower tier FAs. They need to prove they can win and they need Drummond to step up and be a star at this point who do they have that can attract free agents.

ballislyfe25ParticipantBargnani would be a decent backup but only for about 12 minutes a game and as a situational player. Tobias and DeMarre would be nice pickups for them and would give them nice depth.
I think the Pistons may end up missing Greg Monroe a little more than anticipated (if he leaves as expected). His passing really stood out, especially when operating from the elbow in and when on the block finding Drummond for easy looks/dunks.

FutureNBAGMParticipantwould Corey Brewer be a more reasonable option at SF?

ChoppyParticipantI’ve heard that the Pstons two main targets in free agency will be Carroll and Danny Green. The restricted free agents like Harris will be a bonus if we can get either of the first two.
I think Bargnani would be a terrible pick up because he doesn’t fit SVGs 1-in-4-out system. If he backed up Drummond, who is the 1-in? It’d be 5-out. Personally I think Biyombo would be a much better option because he doesn’t venture out of the post and plays defence. Fits the system much better.

Rip255Im not sure how attractive Detroit is for free agents. Unless its a player looking for their first big deal, why would a millionaire athlete with a young family want to live in the most dangerous city in America.
I dont know about you guys but I generally avoid areas that exponentially increase my chances of getting shanked.
For advanced stats buffs – I did some research. You’re 7x more likely to get murdered in Detroit than L.A. and 10x more likely than in NYC.

esperanzafleet69ParticipantAfter reading a few of your idiotic posts I had to say somrthing. First of all, the pistons play in Auburn hills. Which isn’t detroit. Second of all, where there are pro sports inside the city, it’s completely safe. There are good and bad areas like any other major metropolitan area. don’t talk about areas you’ve never been to.
Second off, it’s not like the stones are trying to land lebron or Aldridge. Every player they’ve been linked to is either on their first or last good contract.
Reading your posts is like reading a bias misinformation piece about the pistons.

r377ParticipantAs a pistons fan I would like to see Corey Brewer or Aminu and Ed Davis or Brandan Wright signed. KCP is a chucker so I wouldn’t mind seeing him replaced with Danny Green.
Speaking of chuckers we just got rid of Josh Smith, no way would I want to see Bargs in a Pistons uniform.
The Pistons were not at impressed with Biyombo in pre draft workout so I do not think they would look at him

esperanzafleet69ParticipantThe thing about kcp is that he’s shown some not noticeable improvement through 2 years. He definitely seems like he’s growing as a player.

r377ParticipantKCP shot 39% fg and 32% from 3 in his first season. 40% fg and 34% from 3 in his second season.
KCP is not efficient. He didn’t shoot much better in college….

esperanzafleet69Participanthe’s not ray allen, and hes still young, and he is a decent defender. he had just a ridiculous game against the hawks which showed how good he can be..
but yeah.. i wish we never traded singler.
