Sharp ShooterParticipantI read that the Sixers may trade their #3 pick….You think that the pistons could get the #3 pick for a sign and trade for Greg Monroe & Jonas Jerebko and a 2nd rounder (or somewhere along those lines of trades).
Sixers would get a legit big man (Nerlens Noel is still a big ?) and a energy big man off the bench. Plus the sixer could still sign some shooters.
The pistons could get Jabari Parker. Pistons would get a nice core of Drummond and Parker to build around. Also, they can finally shift Smith back to pf where he can stretch the floor for drummond and pistons can sign another shooter in the off season to pair with Jennings in the back court.

mixtape2003ParticipantNo way they trade the #3 pick unless if for a superstar, or mult lottery pick, and that is pushing it. Only way they think about trading is if Wiggin and Parker is off the board, cause a team may give up alot to move up to take Embiid if the Sixer think that him and Noel would not work together. The Pistons would have to give more imo than Monroe, Jonas Jerebko , and a 2nd rounder.

ballislyfe25ParticipantNo way they trade that number 3 pick. They want Wiggins/Parker/Embiid/Exum too badly. Their only shot at Greg Monroe is offering him a contract which Detroit is unwilling to match or a sign and trade involving the number 10 pick. Monroe would be a great fit with the Sixers but it’s doubtful Sam Hinkie offers him the near max level contract it would take to potentially pry him away from Detroit, and Detroit may just match it now if Stan Van Gundy likes him enough. Giving up on young, skilled, and still developing big men is never a good idea.
It also seems unlikely that Hinkie would trade that 10th pick for Monroe. The only way he does trade it is if he is moving up to the 6 or 7 slots, occupied by the Celtics and Lakers. Philadelphia values their own picks and I believe they would rather draft one of Gordon, Randle, Vonleh, Stauskis, Harris, or Lavine than trade for Monroe. I’m just basing this thought off of the draft chatter coming from them and their draft last year.

Sewok15ParticipantThe only way they move the third pick is if they swap with Cleveland or Milwaukee for 1st or 2nd to select Wiggins. Being that the Sixers don’t want to give up the 10th pick to move up I don’t know if they will be able to with a package of Thad Young and the third pick….unless they throw next years first pick in I would imagine the Sixers will be standing pat.

Neggedpastoronly way sixers trade pick is if Drummond and Monroe are included in deal and future unprotected picks and rights to swap.
we already have noel but if you want to pry our most prized possession from us we need much more then a player we can go out and sign our selves.
hinkie doesn’t want to sign any major established free agents right now.

jaycee24ParticipantIs being way too overvalued. I think for a rebuilding Monroe is the last thing a rebuilding team should want. Number 1 the questionable price tag he’ll consume on a rebuilding team. Number 2 think a Chris Bosh ceiling for Monroe. Capable of scoring on the block but probably best served playing next to a superstar, not a rookie being groomed to be one.
