Nice and easy, Jefferson and Love don’t seem to mesh well together and they despereatly need a solid wing. Sixers will have an abundance of wings with Turner coming into the fold and lack a true low post player (Brand is more of a top of the key type now). Straight up deal Iguodala for Jefferson. It makes sense for both teams. Sixers can draft Turner without any qualms and the wolves can draft either Favors or Cousins, whomever falls to them (most likely Cousins)

    Sixers
    PG Jrue
    SG Turner
    SF Young
    PF Brand
    C Jefferson
    Bench
    Williams
    Speights
    Dalembert
    Kapono
    Green
    Meeks
    Smith

    Wolves
    PG Rubio (hopefully soon)
    SG Brewer
    SF Iguodala
    PF Love
    C Cousins
    Flynn
    Perovic (again hopefully soon)
    Sessions
    Ellington
    Gomes
    Wilkins

This is the worst trade ever to be mention. Iggy is no where close to be comparable to Jefferson. Why would the wolves trade for Iggy when they can just draft Wes who has more upside then Iggy. Iggy can’t dribbler, shoot, or grab boards.

No way will this ever happen, Iggy for Jefferson straight up. Granger yes but not Iggy.

Granger scores more than Iggy but Iggy is a better rebounder, more assists and is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. Why are you that much higher on Granger than Iguodala? If its merely on the offensive end consider this: this was a down year for Iguodala due to the system employed by Eddie Jordan yet he only averaged 7 points less than granger but had 3 more assist per game so that means they accounted for just about the same amount of points for their respective teams. Iguodala also shot slightly better from the field. So ya their not that far off from each other as you may think.

Iggy’s contract also has one more year on it, so for the T’Wolves to do this trade they would probably want to swap first round picks.

I like it. Great idea. I don’t think it will happen but I totally disagree with this guy above who’s calling it “the worse trade ever to be mention”. There are plenty worse: Eg, another guy had a Chris Paul for Luke Walton, Sasha Vujacic, and Shannon Brown thread going a couple weeks ago….

I agree it probably wouldn’t happen but I think it would benefit both teams. Jeffersons numbers suffered with Love in place and I think Love would also flourish more without Jefferson there. Once Rubio comes over they would have a real semblance of a team with Iggy at the 2/3, love and possibly cousins. I would love for Wall to fall to 2 but it won’t happen so we have to take Turner which is a pretty damn good consolation prize. Cousins should be there at 4 and would fit in nicely next to Love. This deal makes too much sense to actually happen though.

If I am Minny, I only do this trade if I get Demarcus Cousins in the draft so he can play C. If I am Philly, I would give it a shot.

Thats not too crazy. But I don’t think it will happen because the Sixers will miss out on Turner. They will draft Wall and be happy trading either Jrue or Williams. (probably Williams)
