arctuk02ParticipantPlus Filipinos are too short and not strong enough for the international level. Most of the players will just shoot the ball.

geothermalParticipant@arctuk02
well, whats the point of the game if you dont shoot the ball? LOL
anyways, Filipino are genetically short, it is because of our ancestors. Like the USA the Philippines is also a place of many cultures, a place for immigrants, although the USA are compose of Tall races like the Caucasians, and the African Americans, while in the Philippines are compose of chinese, malays, indians, ita and spaniards, we were colonize by spain for 300 years and then bought by the USA and set as free, We are gratefull for that,
now back to basketball:
with our shortcomings, we resort in quickness, Shooting and Hustle. Because hieght is not are friend our defense in not that great, we resort in Zone defense for some steals and fastbreak shot,
although that was before, Philippine basketball is under a facelift now, with the addtions of some half breeds Filipino, halfblood. the halfblood shows great athleticsm and shows greater experience becuase of where they grow up, here are some of the Pinoys that will revolutionize the Philippine Basketball to another level,
Bobby Ray Parks Jr. 6’5 guard/forward
Julius Armon 6’3 guard
Chirs Banchero 6’1 guard
Stanley Pringle 6’1 guard
Greg Slaugther 7’0 center
Moala Tuataa 6’7 forward
Yousef Taha 6’8 forward
Matthew Rosser 6’5 forward
JunMar Fajardo 6’10 Center
Only Greg slaughter played in the Philippine team for the Asia Championship,
the Samahan basketball nang Pilipinas (Department assigned for development of Basketball in phil.) is planning to further develop this athletes to gain even a step higher on our current level in basketball

geothermalParticipantwhat is his name? would be great addtion if he went for the Philippine League, its not bad playing there, last time i saw rookies earn around 350,000 pesos, which is 1 dollar is equal to 44pesos, and teams give incentives to take good care of there players
