Agent Zero was the 2nd best PG in the league before he got injuried. If he comes back and plays like how he played before, then he will be that #3 good guy with 26 pts a game.

DOLLA130 !!!!! Monta Ellis and Nate Robinson are POINT GUARDS, look at the depth charts and get your positions right.

Rubio is just too talented to not be top 20, think about it, he will be a #2 pick, he has to have some kind of skills, c’mon!

if i recall allen iverson was considered a point guard also, so looking at the depth chart makes no difference becuase in the end there natural positions is at sg/ and nate did play the sg position this yr and rubio isnt that talented ok he made a couple of passes so what in my opinion BRANDON JENNINGS is a way better player and pick then rubio

Andre Miller is a stud he’s getting a little old but hes still great should be top 10-22ppg 5 assists 2 steals
Billups showed great leadership so far in the post season and proved he is as good as CP3 in the series should be top 3. he dominated the playoffs so far.
Ellis should not be on the list he’s not that good plus he is a SG.

Chauncey is the best PG in the league. Chris Paul is #2 now, but I think Big O, Isiah and the all-time assist and steals leader John Stockton may take offense to the thought Chris Paul is even being mentioned in the same regard.

Yall are right about the positions but i do understand if they are trying to convert Nate and Ellis into point guards they would be very high on the list. Also the Rubio and Jenning debate is tough. it depends on what you want on whom you would draft. I like both. I would pick Rubio if i need a floor leader and steady player but Jennings if I wanted an explosive scoring playmaker.

how could u rate a back to back MVP winner not be rated top 5 if not top 3. If what your talking about active players in the nba to say that steve nash hasnt been a great PG is reeedonkulous. I cant believe the non sense on this posting and……and i mean a HUGE and….how could u not mention Jason Kidd. He damn near average a tripple dbl numerous times in his career and even at his old ass age hes averageing 9 points 9 assists and 6 rebounds tell me what other point guard…guard…forward or even lebron is gettin. Thats impressive for us basketball junkies who got knowledge of the game. Steve nash on a good team would be running the show racking up titles….but honestly whens the last time a pass first pg won a title on his own….tony parker won kinda with time duncan help but he was more score first ask questions later……french ppl….this past year steve nash with the back spasms would help turn a good team into a great team. the only reason he wasnt in the playoffs was cuz of that prick porter and the coaching change….word

Chauncy Billips is not that great, the only reason that some of you guys are in love with his game right now is cuz the nuggets are winning and he outplayed Paul in the Den-Nugg series.

But every great player has a stopper, Kobe always played bad when raja Bell guarded him, but that does not mean raja is anywhere close to kobe’s skill level. Paul kind struggled against denver, the hornets had no body to help paul out and paul had to carry the whole to on his shoulder, whereas c-bill had melo.

b-ball is a team sport, not a individual sport, so look at how much Paul helped the hornets ever since he got drafted to that failing franchise, he is the greatest PG.

Chauncey has been the best PG in the league since Nash won his MVP’s. A championship, a finals MVP and it’s looking like his 5th or 6th trip to the conference finals in 6 or 7 years. The Nuggets were an 8 seed last year, they add Chauncey for (essentially) Iverson and Camby and they become the 2 seed IN THE WEST! There isn’t a PG in the league that can stick Chauncey or who even is a bad matchup for him. Meanwhile Chris Paul just happens to give up 20+ points anytime he faces Billups or Derron Williams. Chauncey owning Chris Paul in the opening round this postseason was just confirmation that Chauncey is at least a step a head of every other PG in the league right now.

“paul greatest pg ever after magic”-no diserespect to CP3 but some names come to mind-stockton,cousy,frazier,maravich, iverson, payton, kidd, nash, pippen, isiah thomas, hardaway, kevin johnson, iverson, lenny wilkens, mark jackson

as for your list Arenas number 3? thats almost funnier than Monta ellis at no. 7 both have hardly played this year, how is nate robinson on this list and rubio hasnt played a game yet, westbrooks way to low, wheres Jason Kidd?Raymond Felton desrves to be on this, and even Rafer Alston is better than some of these

    Honestly dude stop posting

    Hey NYKnicksuperFan !!!

Every one of your arguments can be easily debated, maybe CP3 is not the greatest yet, but he is the most efficient guard in the NBA, posting stats even better than those of D-Wade’s and Kobe’s.

When Agent-0 gets back to his old form, he will be the most deadly offensive guard in the league besides D-Wade, and this prediction is based on him coming back to his good old form. Just cuz someone is injuried doesn’t mean he will not be good again. Amare;s injury can be a great example.

Felton and Alston are close, but not better than anyone that listed here. Even though Rubio is unknown, as a top 3 pick, he deserves some hype.

You should not post again until THE KNICKS ACTUALLY MAKE THE PLAYOFFS !!!

if this is for the 09-10 season i dont want to hear anything about the past. chauncey billups out played chris paul because his team is better. denvers d is light years ahead of new orleans defense. do the point guards make there team better or does there team make them look better than they really are? steve nash is a liabilitly on the defensive end. the game is played at both ends of the court. so defense needs to be taken in consideration of 50% of the players worth. what exactly has chris paul ever done that puts him in the top ten point guards ever. he could be the second best point guard ever. could be is the right words for it.

arenas needs to be moved back 10 spots. or so. people said he is going to come back for a couple years now. and if rubio goes number 2 to the wizards arenas will be playing more shooting guard. billups should be number 2. he turned denver into winners and is the best pg in the playoffs right now. rondo outplayed rose and should prolly be number 5.
rose plays no defense and this comes from a bulls fan. i dont think nate robinson is that good either.

The more I watch Aaron Brooks, the more that I think he can be a top 10 PG. He has all the quickness and athleticism that Rondo has, has good PG skills, but he has a jumper that is 10 times better than Rondo’s. I like Rondo, but I think he just gets unwarranted hype because he plays for the Celtics. Just wait until next year when he has the PG spot to himself.

The reason i have him at 2 is the fact that he has become a star on Boston. I admit his jumper needs alot of work but to me no point guard i have after him would be able to do the samething he has done this season. He is a real hustler, he has excellent defense, he is the deciding factor in the game other than paul pierce on his team, and he has the ability to get triple doubles. You saw how he performed against the bulls in the first round. He may not be the best on his team but he is most definatly deserving of the number two pg spot.

How could you say such a thing? Yes i would choose Rondo, dont get me wrong both are excellent players but it depends on the type of team im putting together. If im putting together a defensive minded team then of coarse i would choose Rondo because thats the kind of point guard you would need. Rondo has that star quality and i don’t believe neither of the two guards could do what he did in Boston.

Rondo is good, but teams still don’t guard him. Not to mention. he benefits from playing with several MORE than effective players. I don’t think he could single handily carry a team like Williams and Parker can do at times. Also, CP3 got punked by D Jones. haha

    1. CP3- Another playoffs like he had will drop him
    2. D Williams- Give him health and watch him shine
    3. Tony Parker- Former Finals MVP, too fast.
    4. Derrick Rose- Has everything you need except J which is already better than rondo’s
    5. Chauncey Billups- Argue 7 strait Conference finals
6.Devin Harris- Up and coming good pg.
    7. Jameer Nelson- Before injury was great. And with his over rated(not over rated by my estimation but by others on this site) big man that make Jameer even better than his numbers.
    8. Gilbert Arenas- only this low because of injuries, he had a 20:1 assist to turnover ratio this year, in 2 games. His uninjured years put him in top 10.
    9. Jose Calderon- Waiting for CB4 to step up more and a decent wing player that can score.
    10. Rajon Rondo- He is over rated to me, I don’t like his game, you can argue if you want its just my opinion, only in top 10 because of playoffs this year. And him trying to get offensive rebounds kills his team on d when he doesn’t get them.

Are you serious? Parker and Deron are good and i like them but you gotta be kiding me. Neither can do what Rondo does. The way that Derrick Rose was playing neither one of them would have stopped him. Rondo has accepted his role in Boston and become a star in that role, when people thoughthe couldn’t lead a team with three stars, he went beyond expectations. I just don’t think Deron or Parker could have done that.

I understand where yall are coming from. Parker is an excellent pg but to me all he does is score and his defense is just ok. his passing is ok also. On the other hand Rondo has became a star and his done things with a team no one has expected him to do. he is athletic, a great passer, Defense is excellent, and can score when neede to. He also a good rebounder for his size and position. All he needs is a good jumpshot then theres basically no stopping him.
