    Just read via Hoopshype that the Lakers are interested in acquiring a top 5 pick to draft Kidd Gilchrist and that Gasol would be available. Of the top 5 draft teams who do you think will/has the best chance of pulling a deal?

    I would say Sacto because they have good young players they can offer and they would get the big they want to pair with Cousins. They would have one of thebest frontcourts in the West if that happens.

    There is no way in hell Sac-town would agree to this. They actually like Pau Gasol, but the hate for Lakers organization remains real. I’m willing to put money on it. If MKG is there at the 5th spot, the Kings would rather add another piece that they need rather than take on an aging superstar and help Los Angeles. Want an example? Why do you think the Clippers drafted nothing but guards in the draft  in the past? To keep the Lakers from getting them.

    I forgot about the history between the two but I’m just posting what I saw. They LA SAC trade idea was mine but it does say they want a top 5 pick, I just felt Sacto had the best pieces.
