orangeshadow83ParticipantThere have been rumors that the pacers have offered him a 2 yr 10 mil deal. I think this would be a great addition for them and coupled with David West I feel this makes them quality playoff team in the east. I would put them somewhere around the 5 or 6 seed with the possiblility of upsetting one of the superstar teams in the playoffs. Especially if Hibbert and George improve like I feel they will. Their lineup would look something like this:
Pg: Collison (Hill backing up Collison, but could play both guard spots, Price)
Sg: Crawford (Rush, Stevenson-I think he will get the pt to prove if he is a quality player)
Sf: Granger (George-6th man will get plenty of minutes)
Pf: West (Hansbrough quality backup in case of injury to West and provide good min as a hustle player.
C: Hibbert (Foster quality backup C)
What do you all think?

Mr. 19134ParticipantI don’t think I want him if I’m a Pacers fan because it only means less shots for Paul George and they alreadt acquired George Hill to play the role of volume shooting combo guard off the bench. With Hill already in the fold I think the Pacers would be better suited going after somebody like Sammy D who can come in and protect the rim and rebound and his shot blocking will provide outlet ops for George, Hill, and Collison. Indy could also use another combo forward not named James Posey off the bench.

fastdanParticipantI really liked their backcourt of Collison/George/Hill coming into this year. Crawford for 2 years to me kind of kills what I thought they were going for, a deep, young squad that actually plays as a team. With Crawford George would probably be stuck playing just backup SF minutes since Crawford/Hill would play all the 2. Really bummed they didn’t push harder for Nene. I thought he was an absolutely perfect fit becuase he would have been able to play very well next to Hansbrough and Hibbert which would have made their frontcourt very nasty.

niQParticipantRealGM reported that Crawford rejected the offer already. He wants to play for either the Knicks, Blazers, Kings or Wolves.
