Seamo15ParticipantNo Bosh at all tonight, does that impact the Heat? They were fine without him for the time he was out last game, but that wasn’t for the entire game. I’d love to see the Pacers grab an away game win to make things interesting, Hibbert has an opportunity to focus up without the concerns of defending and elite scorer in the post ( Unless Lebron goes big).

Seamo15ParticipantHibbert is there focus early, double teams are leaving west open
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 1:24pm #670334
WTF I’m BANNED"does that impact the Heat?"
yes, a ton. not only do we loose his production, we loose his length and ability to stretch the floor, which are essential for the heat.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantChalmers, Haslem, Turiaf, Battier, and Miller (in that order) have to step up huge to make up for Bosh.

festar35ParticipantThese playoff games just look to big for Paul George at this point. His shot looks so forced, Hibbert and Hill/Collison need to be big today.

KayjayParticipantAre struggling to develop any offense. And btw you might as well say you hate home games. Because the Lakers, Clippers, Thunder, and Celtics all get away with the same things.

draftmangtParticipantWonder who spoelstra draws the play for Wade or Lebron, my guess is Wade.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 3:47pm #670385
IndianaBasketballParticipantAnd then D. Wade misses a bunny.
He deserves blame.
Let’s close this sh*t out Indiana.

I May Be WrongParticipantYikes! on that last play
Great, grind it out game. Pacers were going to steal one at AA arena. I had this as a 6 game series prior to the Bosh injury but I think it’ll take a game 7 judging by tonight

IndianaBasketballParticipantAnybody still think this series is going 5 lol?
Pacers held Heat to less than 35% shooting. Clap, clap, clap, clap…
I like having David West on this team. "This is only one game."
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 3:51pm #670391
draftmangtParticipantWow Spoelstra drew up the final play for chalmers? If they were going draw up a play for a shooter i thought it would have been James Jones.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 3:54pm #670395
KayjayParticipantJust how important bosh really was. Wow, Miami had to play intense defense because they were missing Bosh’s offense. That is crazy.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 3:56pm #670396
IndianaBasketballParticipantLMFAO… And the no Bosh excuses begin.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 3:58pm #670397
KayjayParticipantBe honest here Indianna, I realize you are happy. But lets not get crazy, nobody is taking anything from the Pacers, they are still impressive. Hell if it weren’t for freethrows and some bs calls, Pacers would of pulled away long ago. But lets not be blind and not see clearly what Heat’s offense is missing.

Meditated StatesParticipantF ing Skip Bayless saying Prince James is a choke artist. Would he be right?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 4:07pm #670403
IndianaBasketballParticipant"Hibbert will be able to live in the post more, we know this. But there is not one player on the Pacers that measure up to either Wade, nor Lebron. There is no excuse for LeBron should he fail. Its still likely that he won’t fail. Chris Bosh is out for the series, not out for the playoffs (I’m assuming). This means now Lebron and Wade are going on full blast. Even though Bosh’s third option points will be missed, its the playoffs. And the playoffs are all about surprise performances. And unfortunately for the Pacers, no team does it better on both sides of the court." – KayJay
Let’s not backtrack now KayJay.

WizardofOzParticipantLeBron is justr giving Skip Bayless more ammo lol.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 4:18pm #670408
IndianaBasketballParticipantWhen LeBron was at the line, who did NOT expect him to miss at least one of those free-throws? I mean, hasn’t this been LeBron most of his career?
However, for Wade to keep getting a pass is sad. He’s honestly not played well two games in a row. LeBron is doing all of the heavy lifting whenever you get done with it. Wade missed a wide open layup today.
Wade living off of a clutch reputation from years ago.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 4:48pm #670419
HaleParticipantDidn’t watch the game, and haven’t read any comments yet but I’m going to make the safe assumption that everyone blames LeBron for the loss.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 4:54pm #670422
Malik-UniversalParticipanti still think mia wins this series…… both teams missed key ft’s…. good game… i didnt mind wade or lebron not getting the last shot…… both guys struggled shooting and lebron was 0-4 for 3…..
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 4:54pm #670421
aamir543ParticipantTo be honest, I don’t care if Lebron chokes away game 2, I care if he chokes away the series. He’ll bounce back, Wade didn’t do well either, that was a nice move either however he botched the shot.
I expect Miami to win in 6, but here’s the one thing that seems like might happen, Lebron continues with his all-around dominanace but Wade dissapoints. I wonder what would happen if we see historic efforts from Lebrona dn Heat still lose, I wonder how the media would interpret that one. Big win for the Pacers, go home and try to get a couple huge wins in front of your home crowd.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 5:04pm #670423
IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t care about what LeBron or Wade didn’t do…
I care about what the Pacers did do and they held the Heat to under 35% shooting and hurt them on the boards. There were at least two or three clutch possessions where the Pacers got the offensive rebounds.
The Pacers crowd will be rocking at home. IF the Pacers continue to defend, rebound and start making free-throws like they normally do, this is going to be a long series.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 5:07pm #670424
Pro-21ParticipantShould have made those freethrows, but lets be honest by that point he’d already played 42 minutes while playing incredible defense (6 steals) just to keep the pacers from running the heat out of the game…The truth is Lebron was really the only reason it was close. This is just another example of the fact that for the Heat to win any series Lebron has to put forth a superhuman effort every game, which is close to physically impossible.I don’t care what anyone says , if you finish the game with 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals you did more than did your part. If this seems like I’m making irrational excuses for Lebron its only because every Lebron "not being clutch" statement is completely inaccurate and distorts other people’s perception of him on every level. Especially the ones who are just bandwagoners who don’t really watch and or understand basketball. The rest of the Heat need to step up, Lebron can’t play 43 minutes and have 35 plus everygame.

WTF I’m BANNED"LMFAO… And the no Bosh excuses begin"
i don’t see what’s so funny, he is extremely important to the heat… spo last year called him the most important player in the team. w/ bosh out, pacers went from having NO chance, to having some…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 5:56pm #670430
WizardofOzParticipantWhat a Biitch. I know it’ll never happen, but he should get suspended for this just like Jason Smith did for his flagrant foul on Griffin.

HaleParticipant+1 for you sir.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 7:05pm #670440
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantGeez!
I have never seen this much hate on one single thread! Seriously, read it from top to bottom, there are only select posts that are not verbally attacking the Heat individually or as a whole.
Great win for the Pacers, they played very well defensively and gave the Heat all they could handle on that end. Still shocking when you look at the numbers, the fact that the Pacers ONLY won by 3 though. The fact that the Heat shot 6% from downtown, 69% from the charity stripe, and played without Bosh and they only lost by 3 shows great play by LeBron and Wade.
The Pacers need to go to Hibbert a lot more, 6 shots for the biggest player on the court? This game came down to making shots, the Heat missed a ton of open three and the Pacers missed easy jumpers as well, especially in the 2nd quarter. Confidence booster for the Pacers, now that they own home-court, they have the feeling that they can not only hang with the Heat, but beat them. Still think this series goes 6 games, I doubt Miller, Battier, Chalmers, and Jones will miss open three’s this often.

417basketballfanParticipantI agree with you, if it wouldn’t been an average player in the league that player wouldn’t been called for a flagrant 2 and maybe suspended for a game. That play was actually worse then jason smith because he blinded sided him and he was going full speed at him
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/15/2012 - 8:55pm #670452
frogmanParticipantAt least he got hit in the head with the ball, I enjoyed that.
BTW is there anyone out there that still thinks this is "Wade’s team"?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/16/2012 - 12:40am #670472
NYK2010ParticipantBosh is not an inside scorer for the most part with Miami, he scores inside on passes. His game is on the perimeter and a few post ups every now and then.
The Heat are in some trouble that 2nd to last play for Wade probably should’ve been for Lebron to go at the rim.
Both Lebron and Wade were awful from the ft line late and Wade missed his last 4 shots.
The bench and rest of the supporting cast was awful.
Not so easy when your not facing a Knicks team w/out Lin, Shumpert and Amare and Baron Davis for a game.
