festar35ParticipantThe rumor is the the Rockets are working out potential sign-trade scenarios for Lee, to me a good fit for both sides would be Collison for Lee. The Rockets need a PG and Collison has the ability to be a starter but is on the way out in Indiana. With Stephenson looking like he is finally tapping into a bit of that raw talent I feel he can takeover that back-up PG role.

drk3351ParticipantI like the trade but stephenson is not good enough to be backup point. Not to mention isnt he more of a 2?

Codyb1701ParticipantNot really Lance has the body of a SG, but is a good ball handler and passer. He is sort of ball dominent, but has PG skills.
He is very much a PG right now and uses his body well as a PG. Indy likes big players for their position, just like 6-9 Paul George at SG.

KHAM83ParticipantI don’t understand the negs here. Stephenson was not a pg coming in, they played him at the 1 because he couldn’t shoot to save his life to play Sg. It’s a lot easier to learn to shoot than it is to learn to run an offense. Stephenson at the 1 will be a failure. I think unless Collison has a rebound season, he’s definitely on his way out esp the way Hill played at the end of the year at the 1, but with how desperate Houston is for a pg, I think Pacers can get the most value for Collison from Houston, and Lee is a great fit. I say ask for Lee and picks or for Kevin Martin. Martin and Granger is a great combo. Thing is, this will regulate Paul George to 6th man.

mcbaileyParticipantIs that just straight-up? I would think Indy would want something more than Courtney Lee.

festar35ParticipantPaul George WILL NOT be a 6th man in Indiana, enough said. They would move Granger before putting George on the pine.

festar35ParticipantI don’t know the details but Celtics and Pacers said to front-runners in getting Lee and I can’t see Celtics putting in better offer than a starting caliber PG.

BostonkingsParticipantCourtney Lee has insisted that he wants to sign with a title contender, and I’d say Boston is in a better position to compete now than the Pacers.

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea, but he’s born and raised here in Indianapolis. All of his family lives here. That’d probably place the Pacers over Boston if a deal is possible.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantCourtney Lee is a great addition to any playoff team. he was awesome for the magic the year they went to the finals. he is a good shooter and actually plays defense. if the celtics get him, they are going to be in good shape. lance stephenson is not ready to be a backup point guard considering he can barely get time at the SG spot for his team. courtney lee would be an awesome addition to the pacers and give them yet another piece to the puzzle but they need to focus more on their frontcourt at this point which is lacking outside of Hibbert who isnt consistent enough for a full length season.
