cward23ParticipantI’ve just been looking at sites and what they write about players and some of the sites make me laugh because its obvious that they have not really seen the player play before. Examples
Andre Drummond- “Beast of a player that plays with a very high motor”
Anthony Davis-“Versitile enough to play any position on the floor in the NBA”I’m sure there are more out there, has anyone read any in the past?

aamir543ParticipantWell, not reading on any sites, but when I was watching the 2001 draft on NBA TV, the comentators were saying that Pau could play the 3. I don’t know what to make of that.

WizardofOzParticipantI believe he played some 3 in the Euroleague. NBADraft.net even projected him as a SF when he was drafted.
NBA Comparison: Toni Kukoc
Strengths: Pau is the hope of all the people who like basketball in Spain. Pau is the star of the league. He also said rencently he wants to go to the NBA, but he wants to wait at least until 2002 (in this year he finish his contract with Barcelona), Gasol can play of SG, SF, PF or C, but his natural position is SF. In the paint he lacks strengh and struggles against stronger players. When playing at his true SF position he has no comparison in Europe. He can shoot 2 pointers, can slam (he loves it), can run in the fastbreak, and can play in low and high post. He is a complete player. Has a bright future in the NBA.

WizardofOzParticipantWell Bob Knight earlier in the year during the Baylor-Kansas game said he wouldn’t take Perry Jones in the 1st round and he also said that the Morris Twins are guards in the NBA. LMAO!

cward23ParticipantHe played 4 in the Euro League from what i gather. They tend to say that about many bigs who have good handles forthe 4 and a jumper.
I remember Bob Knight Morris comment..lol..Every so often he makes up things (like the U graduation thing)

aamir543ParticipantBut was when he was first in the league, was he fast or quick enough to guard 3s, or was he able to keep up with the Euro threes, but not the NBA threes?
