BallinmvpParticipantHead scratcher, they gave back philly’s first rounder in 2017 and a second rounder next year. Maybe they feel they are not as far away in contending than we think. They need a superstar scorer though, nobody on the team projects to be a star #1 option.

Big_C_KUParticipantMaybe they were worried that the Nuggets would select Elfrid Payton. 2nd round picks have little value and the 76ers first round pick wasn’t till 2017 and only protected for 2 years before it became a 2nd round pick itself. Pick honestly didn’t have much value right now.

ConezdParticipantI’m a huge Magic fan and I was a little disappointed in the trades they made, could have probably gotten Payton at 12 and I thought they could have gotten more for Afflalo. With that being said, I still loved both their picks. They passed on Exum, who if he ends up being all the hype, maybe that’s a loss but he is the biggest mystery in the draft. So I liked that they filled two big needs. Both Gordan and Payton are great defenders to pair with Dipo. Both very athletic, this team will be fun to watch. With Harris and gordan as the starting forwards this team will create turnovers and get up and down the floor. Very pleased with their picks.
