Dhph8711ParticipantDo you think Ben McLemore is a perfect fit with the Magic???

MorseWillParticipantNo, I defiantly wouldn’t call it perfect. Aaron Afflalo already gives them an outside shooting off-guard. Orlando needs a PG for the future

Chilbert arenasParticipantAfflalo is also under contract until 2016. I really think everyone is in the wrong position in this draft.

sheltwon3ParticipantMore than likely Afflalo will be moved. I really don’t see a reason to move him in favor of a rookie when they have a very young team but the thing is rookies pretty excitement. I would rather Orlando take Zeller, Burk, or trade down.

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantI’d try and send Afflallo to Atlanta for their two 1st rd picks and add cheaper younger talent… It’s not like they will be in the playoffs this coming season.
The picks could be used to possibly select a Schroeder and/or Adedokundo to their talent pool.

JoeWolf1Not really, I wouldn’t be surprised if Orlando tried to trade the pick for Eric Bledsoe. That being said, McLemore wouldn’t really be bad for them either, J.J Reddick dropped 15 ppg in that system and they really did miss his outside shooting after the trade. The Magic were 29th in 3 point percentage and having McLemore on board could definately clear some space for Vucevic. It’s not a match made in heaven because Affalo is their best veteran, but he’d be good there. Having his shooting would be an immediate boost to their spacing, especially since they have a beast at the C position.

benny15Participanti know aaron is in his prime right now, will be 28 when the season starts, but whats wrong with him having him on the roster to mentor b-mac? its not like mclemore is coming in as a sure fire nba ready starter. he’s very promising but there is still a ton that can be worked on, and nothing wrong with doing that from the bench in his first couple of years in the league.
if he develops faster and sooner than expected, then you can look at trading afflalo. till then he has proven as himself of deserving the starting title, i’d love to keep him with a mentor and competition to drive him to get much better.
