Alright Trying to decide which combination would fit best giving their current draft order.

Group A- Almost a vetran rookie group, would come end and lead off start

    J.Parker, Tyler Ennis

Group B- A. Wiggins, Aaron Gordan

With Victor could be one of the best backcourt defense, Scarry potential

Group C- Embid- James Young, Doug

Gives good inside out side combo with a nice needed shooter.

Choosing from the three groups that you presented, I’d pick Group A (Parker, Ennis). Parker is going to be a greater scorer in just a few years which is something the Magic could desperately use. If the Magic do take Parker, then it seems that Ennis would be an ideal fit for this team. He would most likely be the 4th option down the road and would provide solid ball handling and play making ability that most teams crave from the PG position. The part that gets kind of tricky with this line-up involves the style of play. Tobias Harris has shown that he can be a contributor but would a line-up featuring either him or Jabari at the 4 spot be too small? Vucevic isn’t really known as a rim protector so this could be a big-time liability for them on defense.

    Possible line-up in 3 years:
    PG-Tyler Ennis
    SG-Victor Oladipo
    SF-Jabari Parker
    PF-Tobias Harris
    C-Nikola Vucevic

Now in my opinion, the Magic would best off trying to find a PF who can rebound and defend as opposed to going with a small ball line-up like this and use Harris as a scorer off the bench. Victor Oladipo obviously has the tools to be an elite defender but other than him, this line-up leaves a lot to be desired. They ultimately might have to part ways with Arron Afflalo via a trade in order to get a 6’9″-6’10” big man as I described, but it could pay off big-time down the road.

I’ll take group B, but would be fine with C. Don’t see the fuss about Ennis, he has no discernable skills for the next level. Won’t be able to get to the rim very well, or defend athletic NBA-sized players. He reminds me of Trey Burke last year, only without Burke’s shooting ability, Burke’s only distinguishable, marketable skill.

C’d be pretty nice, though, the one stumbling point would be the positional clash between Embiid and Vucevic, who you’d eventually have to trade.

They’ll be monstrous defensively with group B. Just insane. Oladipo, Wiggins, and Gordon will all be elite or almost-elite defenders in three-ish years. Pair that lineup with a scoring PG next year and you have a championship team. The problem with that group, though is shooting.

So may I suggest group D?

Wiggins, McDermott/Young. Orlando needs shooting. Wiggins is an awesome prospect and a guy who’d work well with Oladipo.

    PG: 2015 pick

    SG: Oladipo

    SF: Wiggins

    PF: McDermott/Harris

    C: Vucevic

    6th: Young/Harris

I think they would be wise to select Payne with the second pick. He fits in well with Vucevic being able to spread the floor which would be necassary to allow Oladipo and Parker/Wiggins room to penetrate.

Ennis would also be a very good choice so they can slide Oladipo to his natural position.

They may consider trading down a few spots and selecting either Marcus Smart or Dante Exum. They are very high on Smart, and would’ve selected him last season. They could use a PG, and while he isn’t the prototypical lead guard, him and Dipo would be a strong, athletic back court that could potentially be monsters on the defensive side of the ball. They could also select Exum: he has a lot of hype, has a ton of potential, and causes matchup problems for opposing teams.

They could then get some shooting at the 3 spot by selecting  James Young or Rodney Hood with their next pick.

They would still need a shot blocker. Maybe the could acquire one by trading down, or may be they could use Afflalo  in a trade to bring in a good rim protector.

A possible trade that might work out would be Afflalo and Price to the Bucks for Henson and Mayo.

I feel like that’s a fair trade. Afflalo is a borderline all-star. John Henson has a lot of potential, he’s already a good shot blocker and he could play multiple positions for the magic. Mayo is still useful in my opinion as well, and he could be a good spark plug off of the bench.

Orlando has so many options this upcoming draft and off season. 2 lottery picks and trade chips in Affalo and to an extent Harris and Harkless if they drafted Parker or Wiggins for the 3 spot. I think they should look to acquire some young vets though.

Assuming they draft Wiggins or Parker with their first pick:

Pg- Atlanta signed Teague to a cap friendly deal to eventually trade him. Teague is athletic and a very good shooter and I think he’ll compliment Oladipo well. Orlando’s 12 overall pick for Teague I think is a good deal.

Pf- If Vuvecic is your guy at center, he needs someone athletic and a very good weak side defender next to him. Henson, as mentioned above is a good fit, as well is Brandon Wright. I could see Dallas taking Harris for Wright.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. If their first pick lands in a spot where they can get either Wiggins or Parker, then they should trade the 12th for a starting point guard. Teague & Dragic are guys that jump out as good starting guys who can play in the open court and are on very affordable contracts for starting point’s

I like Ennis but I’d rather see Napier thrive in a situation with Orlando.

I think Group B would be perfect – but I’m hoping it’s with the Sixers
