Oklahoma State road to Spain
Today I was watching the game Oklahoma State vs Filipy AllStars, eventually won the match by enough points, the better the match was LeBryan Nash.
I have drawn some conclusions.
1 - LeBryan Nash was the best in the game, with nice moves in the post and bringing many fouls, but his character on the pitch was bad, not ran, walked, seemed unmotivated, even with these flaws, has much potential NBA.
2 - Marcus Smart is a beast physically, had a very nice game, was the second best in the game, has a very good shot, has guard skills, in conclusion: it is a monster and will be a one and done.
3 - Cezar Guerrero, I always liked this player. but after seeing him play, to me very impressed. It seemed to be everywhere, playing with a huge passion, like MKG, had a very nice shot and is a very good rebounder, has a vision very underrated game, made a very good game, I liken it to Kyle Lowry.
* After the game I took photos with these three players, and seemed very sympathetic.
** After the match I was talking to Cezar Guerrero, and told him that if he had thought about making the leap to the NBA, and he said that if next season brings decent numbers, he submit to the NBA draft.
Having seen them first hand, do you think this is a Big 12 contender? How did some of the other guys like Cobbins and Forte look?
lebryan nash will NEVER pan out, i guarantee it.
i hate his game.
It's because he is more of a perimeter/top of the key type of guy and Travis Ford has him playing in the paint where he is not strong/physical enough to play. He does better when he can iso at the top of the key and drive, opposed to posting up
was not a serious party, and ended the first quarter to lose 30-15, and then got a part of 24-4 and two minutes later, the set was 33-10.
Cobbins played well, put several blocks, and Phil Forte also did well, played many minutes from base, and made several assists.
I think it will be the best team in the Big 12, but I no think it is a competitor to the big tournament.
