So I think that the Thunder are just to talented to not overtake the suns and make a good playoff run. However, I think they have created a lot of overlapping players on their roster by picking up Waiters in that trade. Now they are not utilizing Reggie Jackson (who could be a 6th man of the year candidatein if used right) or Anthony Morrow (who is a top 10 shooter in the NBA). I know Waiters has looked pretty good since coming over butthe Thunder have more than enough offensively without him even in the rotation. He is taking minutes away from Jackson who should be playing around 30 a night and m9nutes away from Morrow, who I know really cannot defend but is the ideal offensive fit with Russ and Durant on the floor. Now they are thinking about getting Lopez?? Can brooks devlop talent at all. Adams has all the physical tools to fit their system and his role perfectly and they should have developed Ibaka into a 15-20ppg guy by this point by getting him more touches in the paint.

I guess the point I am trying to make is they are not establishing good roles for their players and letting continuity take over. Look at the best teams in the league right now. They did not make huge roster changes to get to where they are, they just kept developing thier talent and got more comfortable in their roles. The Hawks have half the offensive talent the Thuder do and bc they all know their role and what they can and cannot do they are tearing up the league. Thunder just needed to be patient and let everyone get healthy and in a groove instead of forcing a guy like Waiters into the equation,.
