So the Thunder have stated Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder & Andre Roberson are now available in trade talks.

Do you see any teams interested in these guys, what could OKC get in return?

Steven Adams is a guy I view as a extremely valuable peice for a team commited to improving and competing for a Championship. If you have a gaurd that thrives off the ball Adams will make his life very easy. Guys do not want to go through his screens, its very simple just to decide to go under when he’s in front of you.

My favourite spot for him would be Dallas. Doncic really needs a guy like Adams to get him open looks. Jordan never really got behind Luka like he shouldve.

Portland would be a great fit due to the unfortunate situation with Nurkic.

Washington might want to get him in there if they are trying to win games. Beal/Adams is a good start to building a real team.

Miami would be a good place for him depending on how committed they are to Adebayo.

Really any team could use Adams but it ends up being about who has minutes available due to the size of his salary.

Also. If they are trying to make these deals they are probably looking for cap relief so they can try to do something in free agency.

Adams surely will have value and plenty of interest, but I doubt OKC will trade him for space. So it depends on what they want back.
As Mavs fan I will gladly take him despite a questionable fit with KP, but would they take accept Powell and cap space for him? doubt it
Schroder is an interesting name out there. He is still good PG but he is overpaid. Teams like Suns,Bulls,Pacers & Lakers all need PG. May be Hornets too if they lose Kemba. There are many PG out in FA like Rubio and Beverly but if a team miss on those I can see one of them going after Schroder.

Yeah youre right I looked at the salaries and they are already at 144 mil. Those three players make a combined 50 mil. Maybe they are trying to do a sign and trade with Boston for Horford.

I think the Hornets would take him very very quickly if the Thunder were happy to take back Monk with one of these shocking contracts attached to him – Zeller or Biyombo. They’d have to throw in a future first too at least.

All those guys are overpaid. Adams is clearly the most valuable of the bunch but they won’t get anything that great for him. He is very limited on offense. He is a good defender especially in the post but not a shot blocker.

I could see a team trade for him for matchup purposes like the Raptors did bringing in Gasol especially to guard Embiid in the post in the playoffs. Maybe the Nets go after him as they appear to be going for it after Embiid dominated them in the first round of the playoffs.

Adams would be amazing for Sacramento. He fits athletically and they could really use someone with his physicallity and toughness…setting off ball picks for Buddy/Bogdan and running P&R with Fox. He’d do all the banging with bigs that should help Bagley with staying healthy and I think he’s conditioned well enough to keep up with their pace.

They can absorb his entire salary and still have max $ to sign a shooting SF with size like Middleton/Harris/Barnes or a cheaper option like Hood/Ross.

Brooklyn makes sense and they actually have something of value they could send back, which is what would slow down a Dallas trade.

I really don’t understand the Thunder think here, however. To me, Schroeder can go, and Roberson should have gone years ago, you’re playing 4 on 5 anytime he is on the court. I just don’t think you get anything back.

Adams is a tough guy, a great screener, good defender and a work horse on the boards. He’s an effective player without the ball.

What OKC needs is to surround George, Brooke and Adams with Shooters. Hello?! I’ve never really understood their moves, it’s one bad decision after another over there.

We are in such an average position as a franchise: Presti has commited to a lame duck coach whos staff even see the writing on the wall-3 have left him already ironically for Monty williams  staff…We are in cap hell and after 3 first round exits the owners want to save some money again SMH…

I honestly don’t think we move 2 of the above mentioned players for the following reasons:

Dennis S-He is the first P.G that allows Westbrook to actually take more than 2 mins off in the quarter which allows him to be fresher for longer in the season..If Westbrook doesn’t have one of have a random knee surgery again(which is starting to be to regular for my liking personally) he should be good to start the season meaning a higher seeding..

Steven Adams…They love him there and when he goes off the court Westbrook kind of struggles not only defensively(hence why adams gets burned alot covering R.Ws man to much) but offensively due to adams get Russ room to move..Is the cap price for him alot, yeah but if Russ and P.G involve him more on the offense he will look a little better on that end..As at the start of the season they used to feed him at the start of games to get them going, then for some stupid reason went away from that.

We are more likely to move Roberson,Patterson and our pick for either an expiring deal or a partially guaranteed/team option type player. See J.R smith as most likely player.

Heres my list of teams where all 3 could end up that sort of make sense.

     Adams:

Boston-With Al horford all but leaving them I could see them either a) offering cap relief via picks or b) maybe offering Jaylen Brown(as he will need to be paid soon)+ a pick for Adams and our pick.

Sacramento-As they aren’t overly sold on WCS so I could see OKC wanting Buddy+ average deal(but probably saving at least 10 mill)for Adams

    Orlando-IF they loose Nik V..

    Dennis S:

Suns-They could offer cap relief and absorb Dennis deal for maybe their pick this year(maybe a reach) or just out right absorb his deal for expiring deal if they have any. .

Bulls could offer a pick and Kriss Dunn. They apparently want a better P.G than Dunn so why not do the Bulls a favor lol.

    Hornets if Kemba walks.

    Roberson:

Spurs-He seems like a spurs kind of guy

Memphis-If we give them our pick the maybe able to absorb the deal..
